good breakdown...my assumption is they focused on defense so much in training camp they didnt get enough reps for offense. Aside from that the non shooting, 25-30% from 3 doesnt help either, your pg cannot be guarded with a sagging center...lol, reminds me of magic johnson dropping way off in the paint when guarding dj back in the day, lakers have 80s spacing in 2022.

I brought Hendrix SG that 2k made as SG, my player as PG which also destroys 3s and 2s, Jones as center and AD as PF, also i brought some Ivan free agent talent as backup PF, Walker is okeish substitute as SG, I avoid Troy most of the time because his IQ is terrible and shooting inconsistent. Nunn is also inconsistent shooter and bad defender.

@ecofriendly0
@ecofriendly0 Жыл бұрын
Playing iso ball with no Jordan / Kobe is a recipe for disaster. Right now every time LBJ is on the court the D gets overworked. Lakers really need someone like the twin towers Javale McGee and Dwight Howard to at least dominate the paint and hopefully translates to more off rebounds giving the bad shooters a boost in confidence to shoot at will no matter their percentage.

It so funny to me watching the Lakers be this bad. But it’s getting to the point where I actually kind of feel bad for LeBron. No one that talented should have to put up with a team this inept. The Lakers could probably sign some "True shooters", who are currently free agents, like Trey Burke, Carmelo Anthony, Nick Young etc. for like $20 and a pack of Newports right now. WTF are they waiting on. Much respect to Rob Pelinka for getting Kobe the bag and everything, but I have no idea what the hell he is doing now. Is he secretly trying to tank to have a shot at the 7'4'' kid everybody is takling about?

Because their shooters suck ass. I noticed that in 2k, thats why i made PG with extreme good shooting from 3 and 2, and solid layups. They also did not have good substitute for Power Forward so i brought one good talent from free agency, and also brought 2k21 made up player as SG, and now with Lebron, Davis, my player and Jones as center we are unstoppable. Walker is also solid substitute for shooter, but overall they all lack perimeter defense and play IQ.
