Larry Nance is a really great option but there’s no way he gets waived, the Hawks doesn’t control their pick so they don’t have any incentives to be trash, and even more, they got our pick so they don’t wanna help us as they want us to be trash, that being said Chris Boucher could be a pretty solid option too

Lakers need a Rim Protector to pair with Jaxson Hayes. Andre Drummond, Robert Williams or Dwight Howard. Lakers have a legit lob threat with Hayes. Kelly Olynx is a very interesting fit because he plays bigger than he is.

I’d like to waive 3x players and pick up 3x players. Waive Wood, Keef & Reddish. Pick up Bones Hyland, Tre Jemison, and Christian Koloko. Bones gives us a 2-way guard superior to Shake. I’m not a fan of Bamba and the other centers available on the buyout market. Jemison gives us muscle. Koloko gives us all-around competency.

Olynyk would make a lot of sense despite not fitting the Luka criteria. If you're thinking about signing Lance, doesn't Rui already provide much of what Lance could? I get the nostalgia around Dwight but, that ship has passed. If no one becomes available by the end of the season I'd waive Wood whom should imo be the obvious choice due to being injured all year. I'd sign Koloko and make sure the Lakers have at least a non guaranteed year next year.

Nance is best out of those listed. Vertical lobs, 3pt shooting, switchable to a degree but undersized. Bamba is big but that's it. Theis is not lob threat or well sized but is smart and tough with spacing ability. Olynyk kind of is like kleber. DH12 is like 40 and out of nba for 4yrs. Same for javale.

The trade wasn’t “vetoed” it was rescinded. Two words with vastly different meanings. If the trade was “vetoed” that means the nba commissioner or some higher power stopped it from happening. Williams did not pass a physical which is why the parties undid the trade themselves.
