The team needs to look at players that are reaching their prime, not beyond their prime for such a critical need of the team. If AD is injured, then that likely means Brook would be burnt out, or be played off the floor.

Get Kai Sotto already! Young at least experienced played in the NBL and J league! His popular will attract even more fans and business for Lakers, why not check Australia's League before kai, during and after! After he left the League no longer the same, they tried to get him back...no chance already he is gunning for the NBA! Teams are looking for him imagine his Impact on the League if ever!

There seem like tons of big men com8ng in the draft. Kessler is great, and a true 7 footer. Other than hayes the lakers dont have one, and wemby.?.. AD is a center, . The other problem which

For me i think its better to trade lebron james and other assets to get the following: Trae young, murray and Capela from the hawks Mithell and allen from the cavs Its hard to let go lebron but the lakers first option right now is AD and you dont want him to get hurt before playoffs that is why AD need another bigman to pair with. My best option is to get mitchell and allen that would help AD to the court.

I'm pretty confident JJ is a good hire. the fact he's a stat head means he's already better than some coaches who are still against stats (looking at you, Billups). getting Rondo to coach is great too. and Dudley, while not a great basketball player, must be a great presence in the lockerroom. he could only have stayed that long in the NBA by being a great teammate. you need guys like him to translate genius basketball speak to role players. another former player whom I think will be a good addition to the coaching staff is Shane Battier. this guy literally started Miami's 27 win streak with a speech. a guy that could inspire a team like that is precious. and he's a basketball savant too and highly analytics-minded. as for JJ's assistant coach, I'd look into poaching Dan Craig or Ron Adams. heck, i'd even look overseas to coaches like Ataman or Obradovic.
