If Vando is healthy, he has to start. If Vando is not healthy, it is just a lot of not great options. Cam is great as a perimeter defender, poor as an offensive threat and rebounder. Rui is a horrible perimeter defender and rebounder but good on offense. Then you have Knecht who is a rookie and Max who is undersized. We really just need Vando to be healthy to make the pieces fit. We can still be really good with pieces that don't work because of talent, but it makes it really hard on everyone.

This team is very good and balanced. They just need to let vincent start for defense, and dlo be 6th man. The lakers bench will be better than other benches, and that will make them better than expected. Make atleast the second rd. An elite scorer like lavine makes them contenders. They lowkey got a core of 7fters, ad, hayes, koloko, castleton, that if used correctly can really make the lakers a good rebounding team. Starting: Vincent, reaves, rui, bron, ad Bench: dlo, christie, vando, knecht, hayes, koloko

Rui is entering his prime. He showed less growth than expected after training with LBJ last season, but Darvin Ham was a horrible coach. Hopefully coach Reddick unlocks him but he'll prolly be a bad coach too and the ceiling of this roster is still overall low.

Rui a bench player at best. Even for the Japanese basketball team he was not effective. There's a reason even the terrible ass Wizards had him on the bench.

Lakers 1st Unit needed a 6’6 Big guard defender from veteran free agency. 😔😔😔 That would have kept liability on defense against Small Forwards Hachimura at backup Power Forward.

I think really Rui Hachimura on defense sucks and for the kind of money that he's making he should at least get you 8 rebounds AVERAGE every game for that kind of money it's simply he doesn't want to, not that he's not capable. And I'd tell him if you don't get that you're sitting down; and will trade your aZZ if you don't. 🫡

Rui is a Pf with elite SF scoring capabilities. 3 level scorer! I think JJ should make Lebron defend SF and cut Lebron MPG! Especially when Vando is healthy!! DLo, AR, AD,Rui, will continue to excel offensively! Gabe, Max Christie, MLewis are 3&d role players ,DKneckt and JHS are wildcards, JHayes, Koloko Castleton are rotation big men eating up center minutes. CWoods adds scoring and rebounding can really help at Pf and center!!! Lebron athleticism enables him to better defend Shifty SF. If you cut Lebron overall minutes he can possibly affect the game better on the defensive end as a priority!!

3rd best Laker... when he's used correctly. Excited to see him thrive in ACTUAL offensive sets w. Reddick that get him in his sweet spots! Instead of Ham playing Prince for 40mins a game and insuring Rui never gets in a rhythm. 💯💯💯

Sorry but Rui will be the same liability on defense because of his lack of lateral quickness and anticipation. He doesn’t rebound well for his size, he would be great coming off of the bench. He’s not a natural SF he’s a PF. Just out scoring other teams will get you beat when it counts.

All Rui needs to work on is being a better defender and rebounder and he will be fine but I hope and pray he is a better defender somehow and improves on rebounding.

Raleigh Simmons coached by Fred Tex Winter. Rui has great percentage numbers. He is a better small forward than Vanderbilt, more dependable and less prone to injuries. Rui is a better scorer just give him the green light. LeBron can win with Rui.

Rui needs to crash the boards. He needs to hustle more.
