I wish basketball fans could watch the games and appreciate the teams we have. My favorite lakers team was the nick van excel, Eddie jones 90’s team, and was hyped when they went to the second round. I love watching this team and I’m just along for the ride. Every team is flawed except the Celtics (who have 2 home run first round draft picks and took years to build) and the thunder who also drafted perfect and were extremely patient. I wish the dialogue about basketball was half the trade talk and twice as much X’s and O’s.

My top trade at the moment, Gabe, Vando, 1st, 2nd for DFS and Sharpe. Then Dlo and JHS and two 2nds for Bruce Brown. Maybe could even then entice Jazz with Sharpe and a 1st for Kessler. Either way, we get a legit backup big, two el it e 3 and D guys, plus an open roster spot and money to sign someone from buyout market.

I couldn’t agree more with the Jonas Valanciunas trade we do Not need him. We need a center who can rim protect at a good level/ lob threat who can run the floor. Every time I hear about Val I get so frustrated because it’s the exact opposite of what we Need. I think adding Bruce brown and dfs make this team instantly tougher and more athletic. I think a LeBron AD team should lean more into the defense because we know LeBron and AD are capable of turning up the offense when they need it and transition is the easiest way to score.

The difference in what he's saying about LeBron is not necessarily liking in the sense that he'd like to have a certain player on his team. What he did with Westbrook was court him. Took him to his house and let him ride on his elevator at his home. And stopped a trade that was being finalized. He went in and sold Palinka on the idea of getting Westbrook. And took AD with him to do it. That is the difference between the 2 issues he brought up.

I don’t think OKC can break through in the playoffs yet and Boston is still the favorite. If the Lakers get a shot at Boston finals they can win with this team because they played defense and don’t shoot as many threes as Boston, but after Denver to get there or possibly Dallas or both slim chance

Cam is more of a SF while Rui’s natural position is PF. I like US keeping Rui in the Post LBJ Era and starting Cam @ 6’8/Rui @ 6’8/AD @ 6’11 in Our Front Court along with a 23/24 Year Old/6’6 MaxC @ SG. We would just need a Young/Athletic/Scoring PG that is Tired of losing and wants a chance to Win a Championship (Ant/Fox/Ja/Trae/Maxey/Melo). And, Cam is Scoring 19 Points a Game on 49/42 Shooting (7-3PT Attempts a Game).

First of all they’re definitely a move or two away from winning the championship. Secondly, Bron and AD aka the 2 best players in the league are unbeatable against everyone in a best of 7 like Kobe and Shaq

They are 2 games out of top 4 in the west and they have zero perimeter defenders.. so yeah you upgrade the 2 and the 3 and they can be playing reeves next to awesome perimeter defenders and AD in the middle yes they would be contenders.. favourite not contenders yes

We saw it.. @@Pblock623 I have a strong indication, Lakers are gambling on the health of Wood & Hayes to tandem the backup Center position based on opposing matchups. If the floor needs to be spread w shooting C Wood will get more minutes. If the opposing big is a post/rim protector Hayes will garnish more minutes behind AD. As for Rui your 100% correct hence why he’s being paid 17M to home a backup role instead of a starting role in the above lineup.
