Thanks for breaking down the AR facts for everyone. Lots of people still stating that D Murray is a better option, but they don’t consider chemistry, IQ, clutch, etc. Lots of folks just look at the stats and athleticism of #1 and #2 options on other non contending teams, and compare those players to AR without considering the limited role and demands of sharing a court with AD, Bron, and DLo.

I think the offense will balance out. Max in starting lineup is new. This has been a focus. I think the coaching and the team want to make it consistent, so going all in on defense, and then balancing out a little, as the effort level reaches a consistent standard and par of their character, is easier than gradually ramping up the defense.

No offense Jovan, but I think the best path for the Lakers right now is upgrade Dlo into someone like Tyus Jones. Not spectacular but will do alot of wonders. And probably Gabe into some one like Brogdon. Then in the process use bunch of second rounders instead of Frp.

The Lakers don't need to change players. The current line up can compete. If Hayes is back along with Vando & Wood, they can help AD up front. Koloko contributes well. Even the 2-way contract guys can help in shooting like Olivari or Lewis.

Jovan. Did JJ call out Lebron and Anthony Davis? Lebron responded and AD not so much. Reaves has had big games in the past when AD or LBJ miss. Against GS, AR had more chances with the ball in the same minutes without DR and AD.

We can't win games with just Fox, AD, and Lebron. We will need other players to play as well. Im worried about gutting our roster for fox, who can't shoot the 3 well or defend well. We would lose 3pt shooting trading reaves, dlo, rui, max, etc. AND defense if max goes for him. I like his fit i Just think we need more, or we can't trade everything for him atleast. And by trading for Fox, we can't get Cam johnson or DFS since we'd lose all our assets to trade

Fox is a great player. HOWEVER, it makes more sense for Lakers to spread out their resources to go after 2 players - Wing and Big. Putting everything into 1 trade is essentially doing what has continually failed - The 3 Star model (Boston did not win until they upgraded beyond the top 3. They also built all that before the new CBA). The 3 star, top heavy model has mostly failed miserably: Nets, Suns, Lakers w Westbrook, Clippers. More 3 star model have crashed and burned than succeeded. NO TRADE where the Lakers have to give up too much for 1 single player.

@@Creamcity414 This comment is factually WRONG. DFox currently makes just below $35 million/year, and it increases yearly. Reaves makes 13 currently. ANY deal for Fox would have to include DLo or Rui in order to get CLOSE to matching, Lakers would need to throw in JHS (not a big deal there) in order to match. Of course BOTH 1st rnd picks would also be required. There would be competition for Fox, so Sac will probably ask for swaps AND DK instead of JHS, perhaps seconds as well. This leaves Lakers with nothing of value that other teams want to trade for, and with NO good picks to sell the deal. Players like Gabe, JHS, Cam, Wood, Hayes have no market without other coveted assets attached. A Fox trade would cripple the teams options to improve elsewhere. It would be a top-heavy team with no depth. There is no doubt Fox is a great player. But that is NOT the problem. The problem is becoming another Suns scenario. Great Top talent, but no team, and no depth since all assets are used on to upgrade 1 single player, in the position that isn't even one of their top 2 needs next to Bron/AD
