Yessir! My guy Max Christie as a Lakers fan I've been a big believer in Max Christie even tho Darvin Ham didn't give him minutes like he needed to so Max could grow. Max has had some ups and downs but it's been worth it because he's started to show what we as Lakers Nation thought he could be which is a 2-way player!

@@zooom6286happens. He came into the league super young. He has shown to be a work horse and is developing his nba body. The fact that he’s showing potential of having an offensive game is only gonna make his contract that much better being a great signing. I also like the fact that Reddick is going with who ever can produce gets the minutes and doesn’t stick to a player. Keeps the players on their heels. Love that about the coach.

Imo, not playing max Christie last year is as big a reason as anything as to why Darvin ham got fired. He missed out on so much development last year when vando AND reddish were hurt and ham was playing Taurean Prince 30 min a night.

He's been able to most of these things since his rookie szn in those very rare moments Darvin Ham's dumba55 actually gave him playing time. I've been saying for a while that Darvin should've used Max since his rookie szn, but that dumba55 kept dnping Max. I'm so happy JJ gave him an opportunity despite the early struggles in the beginning of the szn. Now everyone can see what most of us real basketball fans have seen in the dark for some time now going back to his college days where he showed signs of what type of player he can be in the NBA.

I will still die on the hill that Max should've played over Malik Beasley in the second half of the 2022-2023 szn especially in the playoffs when Malik just disappeared with Troy Brown Jr.

Max is great! He's a 3&D player. He's a great two-foot jumper so he rebounds and contests shots well. Also those dunker spot dump offs, he's great at those. So happy for him. Even when buried in the rotation by Darvin Ham, insiders say he's always in the gym working hard. He's definitely a good find as a second rounder. Happy he's a Laker.

I’ve been a believer from the start. Even through his bad moments. He’s so young and has yet to even play a full season as a legit rotation player. Imo, Max has PHX Mikal Bridges potential. Just a left 3&D guard/wing that you can count on to hit shots and defend at a high level. He’s only going to get better as the season goes along. The confidence is already starting to show. We absolutely hit on Max. Knecht also looked good yesterday. We have some pieces but just got to play them.

People saying Max should have gotten more burn last year weren't really watching - last year with Darvin Ham he was timid and constantly overwhelmed by big moments especially on offense. Whatever JJ has done with him in the offseason has completely turned him around. He's confident, aggressive, and an absolute dog on defense. He is now a clearcut upgrade over DLO who is one of the worst point-of-attack defenders on the team and to be honest I wouldn't be suprised to see DLO getting shipped somewhere soon for peanuts. On a team like the Lakers the better your defense is the more your offense will thrive via fast break... Max is easily a better fit than DLO and its not even close. DLO will still have games where he gets hot from deep but when his shot is off or average he's a net negative for the Lakers
