Both corners should be occupied by the 2-Guard and Small Forward during Fastbreak/Transition Offense MANDATORY for a potential catch & shoot off the 1st pass of the possession. A veteran 2-Guard off the bench with at least 5 yards NBA experience could have prevented the Lakers from getting eliminated 4-1 in the Playoffs.

The Lakers made the right decision. We're short on bigs so obviously waving one big for another places you in the same position. Its as if you did nothing at all. Blake had one skill. Launch 3s. That's not enough to justify making lateral roster moves with your center depth when AD is making it clear that he needs bigs around him. Hinson is far away from being who we need him to be. This is was the Lakers best decision between the 3 two-way players.
