I’m interested in keeping up with Rui at the front court positions. I know he has trouble with screens and faster competition but if he can hold his own on the block he might be able to be a good small ball option for us if we can get a “starting” level center. 6 or 7th man is perfect for Rui

U know ADs history of being injured and you would think pelinka and jeanie would want to invest in a big men : ( the negligence of the front office is crazy! They cant go past this trade deadline without improving this team! They need a big men ! They need 2 way players

Jovan, would you rather DLo or Derozan off the bench? I could see 3 team trade that sends DLo & JHS out and brings Derozan in. He would need to serve as 6th man though
@YouReallyDontKnow29 күн бұрын
I love dlo, but if we’re going all in to win now, derozan might be the better option for scoring off the bench. He also can be very good in the clutch (when not playing a lebron team lol)
@georgefehr62429 күн бұрын
We rank high in injuries. Guys just cant back on the court. I like Vanderbilt. He is young still had surgery still trying to recover. January possibility he can play. I hope Pelinka isnt resting saying Jeanie i dont need to improve the team we just beat the Warriors. Solid Lakers win. Reaves won it bank shot layup 1 second left. 115-113 vs. Warriors. Rob whether we win or lose needs to be looking to make smart trades.

Jovan - great episode brother. Something to flag from the lebron POV: Lebrons last 7 games: 28 ppg 7.3 rpg 8.7apg ~2.5 Steal + blocks Shooting 53 / 39 / 82 I mention this because the biggest thing for the lakers is the question of lebron’s ceiling / where he’s at. He’s squarely a T10 player (imo he’s proving it’s higher)….just calling it out given the “washed” allegations prior to his rest Importantly, though, he should NOT play b2bs
@gaberox129 күн бұрын
My only complaint with AR is as a primary ball handeler vs athletic defenders and his unrealistic passes. He tries to be clever and makes some crazy passes that lead to turnovers. Overall hes great but even in this game he only shot 40% from the field. Hard to beat his production based on his contract though.

Analytics is meant to help you find an opportunity, strength , or weakness . The nba is using it to judge and determine a players worth and what style of basketball to play that’s not a good formula for success

GS is like 3-11 in last 14 The only thing that makes the win impressive is that we did it without AD

Ok hear me out, high post LeBron can be a fix if ad is out. Think pre Laker bron in Cleveland. A objectively worse roster . (Kevin love was second best player in points per game at 17.6ppg) this will only work when ad is out and the guards are struggling with the physical match up so it’s not a cure all. But with the philosophy of constant screen and cuts from the supporting cast, LeBron can work in his triple threat for slower pace, taking physical play away from guards and getting them open whether it’s kicking out as a double counter or using more post moves that gives him his “chess” advantage (shump saying LeBron uses movement from the natural mindset of the defender “take him with you” he can be QBron and jj gets his flare screens and inverted pick and rolls.) this is when “lebron needs shooters” comes from the misconception of bron has always been drive kick, I feel like it depends on the roster and this roster definitely needs slow pace and counter to the physical backcourt scouting report.

I called the Detroit game a scheduled loss. Their strengths vs our weaknesses makes it one of the worst matchups in the league

Rui gives up too much, he gave Steph 4 threes 12 points soft hedges drop cover open 3 every time. His Decision making is bad defensively but he’s solid.

@YouReallyDontKnow29 күн бұрын
Statistically sure, but he was hustling and keeping his hands active for deflections and staying in passing lanes. He’s been doing great on defense in the areas that don’t show up in the box score

Johan. You’re a credible source. But for you to say LeBron don’t have the green light like Steph. You lose all your credibility. Lebron don’t have any lights. He’s a reckless driver lol

Yeah that was a weird thing to say lol lebron might not be a great shooter this season so far, but his decision making should be trusted by everyone and if he takes any shot, I have a good feeling about it

💜💛🍻 If AR is realistically the 4th option on a Championship team, Lakers need to make a trade for the 3rd option while keeping AR. Zach Lavine is legitimately the only player that will move the gauge towards a Lakers championship. Reason being, his play making ability and shot creation. Honorable mention Cameron Johnson. 📌 PELINKA WATCH 👀
