please stop with the GOAT nonsense. Kareem has almost the exact same longevity and more rings 6 to 4 and more MVP 6 to 4. Kareem also won FMVP at age 39. So LeBron isnt even the best old player ever. He's putting up the best stats but the success isnt there.....stat padding on non contenders has never gotten the same appreciation as putting up stats on real contenders.
@-13eNnY-10 сағат бұрын
@Alex-kk3ny Kareem won most of his MVPs when the ABA and NBA weren't even merged. He only got finals MVP for 2 of his 6 championships where as LeBron was clearly the best player on the floor for his championships. Kareem also played alongside players like Magic Johnson, James Worthy, and Micheal Cooper for pretty much the entire time to do it Kareem had nowhere near the longevity that LeBron has shown. LeBron's impact and athleticism at this point in his career is far more than what Kareem had towards his later years. Towards his later years, Kareem would just lumber to the paint on both offense and defense. Many possessions, the team would wait for him to catch up as he trailed the play. LeBron stat-padding would imply that he's not helping his team win. LeBron and AD have been by far the best players on the team since they've joined. It's the roster constructions that have failed them even though they both have played at a top 5 to 10 level in the NBA.
@Alex-kk3ny2 сағат бұрын
@@-13eNnY- even assuming you're correct in everything you've stated (and i would disagree on some aspects) the idea that LeBron is a definitive GOAT is complete nonsense. He can be DEBATED as the GOAT you can make a serious argument for it. But if he ever tries to call himself the GOAT after he retires you're going to see some serious pushback and rightfully so. He is not the undisputed GOAT and it's completely disrespectful to Jordan, Kareem, Magic and others to pretend he is the greatest ever. Jordan completed 2 threepeats with only one other top level star on his team. He has way more accolades than LeBron despite only playing 15 seasons and the highest ppg average all time ahead of even WILT. LeBron has never even had one threepeat. He was lucky to even go back to back, Ray Allen literally saved him. And please do not compare the help Kareem had to the help LeBron had.....LeBron had Wade/Bosh, Kyrie/Love, and now AD.....all HOF players. They are even in that category. Jordan/Kareem are a complete TIE for the GOAT in terms of accolades. Then you have LeBron who is behind in accolades but putting up crazy stats into his 40s so he's seriously putting himself into the conversation with his longevity accomplishments. But unless LeBron wins 2 more rings that is all he is doing with these stats.....putting himself into the conversation. He will never be called "GOAT" because his competition of Jordan/Kareem are too excellent that he cant surpass the BEST he can do is get some consideration. UNLESS......LeBron can become the undisputed GOAT if and only if he does something unthinkable and wins another 2 MVP or 2 FMVP at age 40/41/42......if he can pull that off THEN i would have to say at that point okay he has passed Jordan/Kareem because now he tied them in Accolades AND he has the longevity too. I seriously seriously doubt LeBron can win 2 more rings.....so he is going to have to settle for top 3 of all time and you can debate who goes 1-2-3 but thats the best he can do. Some will call ihm Goat but it will never be universally agreed like it was for Jordan for 30 years. You can push back at me and say "who am i" to make this claim but this is pure objectivity and you'll see after retirement that his push for GOAT status will fall flat. People universally loved Jordan and he still has more accolades. Bron is fighting a losing battle unless he gets 2 more rings. there's nothing else he can do.....win the rings or just retire and go out on top. Many will still call him Goat so be happy you have some fans saying that.

GABE, CHIRISTIE, DLO, VANDO, JHS, and WOODS will retire first before LeBron does😅
@dmitryowens15 сағат бұрын
I wouldn't include DLo and Christie in that statement. Vando and Wood maybe if they're continually injured and possibly JHS if he doesn't improve within 2 or 3 years. Gabe shouldn't even be in the NBA - he's terrible and it's not like he's going to improve much (or at all) at his age.

Lebron can play until he’s 50 if he wanted to. You already see his 3 point game development with age . You have him loose muscle and weight. Slim down. Focus more on cardio. And he becomes a phenomenal 3&D roleplayer arguably the best in the league. Also if he plays that long he’s bound to get 2 or more rings solidifying his legacy over Mj and his scoring record becoming truly unbreakable.

Well come on LeBron. Do the Lakers a solid and sign for a mid level exception next year haha I know what everyone is going to say. And I agree. Lebron is worth 50 million. Lebron is probably worth 100 million due to box office, ticket sales & merch. But. If Lebron wants another championship. Sign mid level or better yet Vet min. Trade Delo, Christie, Vincent and Vando. Could get 2 max players. Not 100% if my math is correct. But you have the idea. You could sign Bryce & Knect 6th man of the year 🏆

@@bonganimkhwanazi2081 you don’t take a pay cut so your boss can win. Who said to do that? You take a pay cut to get better younger all star type players, and the topic was to play w Bryce and retirement. Im talking about his last two years in the leage 2026 - 2027 where Lebron shouldn’t have to be the focal point player doing all the lifting every game. It depends if he values winning another championship. It’s hard for a team to win and get good players if your max guy is 41-42 years old. Just sayin

LeBron James CHOKED and missed a game winning 3point shot tied 99-99 at the other end Jamal Murray CLUTCH made game winning shot Nuggets 101-99 over Lakers in game 2 Let me guess it's Darvin Ham fault that LeBron James CHOKED and missed a game winning 3point shot Darvin Ham 90-74 winning record in 2 seasons reach conference finals after taking over a team that 33-49 missed playoffs got Frank Vogel fired Darvin Ham coach even with Mike Malone had the Lakers and Nuggets in tight battle games late in 4th quarter only difference is one coaches stars Nikola Jokic and Jamal Murray closed games in winning time the other coaches stars LeBron James and Anthony Davis couldn't close out games and Nuggets 4-1 over Lakers Reason why nobody wants to play with LeBron James that's why Klay Thompson, DeMar DeRozan, James Harden said no Lakers not a championship team at all even with JJ Reddick I wonder who they gonna blame next when they still LOSING next season, goat 🐐 Jordan 6 rings, 6 fmvps only 1 all star teammate Scottie Pippen compare to LeBron 6 finals losses and still doesn't have atleast 5 rings in 22 seasons despite playing with Dwayne Wade, Chris Bosh, Kyrie Irving, Kevin Love, Anthony Davis, Russell more hall of fame teammate and all stars 🧂🤪😂
