I’m really becoming a fan of it. Smells great splitting and burning. I just wish people here in the Midwest were more open minded about Pine. I’m betting they would really enjoy it in a backyard fire pit! Thanks for watching Larry👊🏻🇺🇸

That pine looks great. "Burt Reynolds" 😂. It sure is nice having family home. Upper wood yard looks great.

This pine was very good. I believe I will be going back for the rest of it in hopes of selling it in bundles in the spring. I loved the smell of it burning in the fire pit. It is definitely a hard cell here in Southern Illinois, but maybe, the backyard enthusiast will take a liking to it. It was great having Bert Reynolds back in the woodyard.😂 thanks for stopping by Jerry👊🏻

That’s the best thing about pine is its ability to dry in just a few weeks . Fast turn over equals more profit . Hope you guys get some hunting time in together opening day of gun season was yesterday here in Maine .

Cheers to fall break! Like you, I thought about cheaper pine bundles for the pine that sneaks into my woodyard, but I didn’t do it because it takes just as much work to produce a pine bundle as a hardwood bundle and I didn’t want to get paid less for my efforts. So, I mix the pine in with my summertime stacks to stretch the hardwood during campfire season. I’ll add 5-6 sticks to a $20 stack. No returns yet! 😉
@toddsoutsideagainКүн бұрын
Yeah I hear ya! There is a lot of pine over there and I hate to see it waste! I even thought about mixing it in to the loose stacks like you said in the middle of summer. I appreciate ya watching Jdubb👊🏻

@toddsoutsideagain2 күн бұрын
That thought has crossed my mind!! Im a little hesitant because of most folks thoughts on pine here in the Midwest?? That’s why I thought I would just make exclusive pine bundles and letting them know what furnace all pine if that goes over then I might start mixing a little in. Everyone around here says you can’t burn pine in your fireplace so I’m a little hesitant this time of year.😂 thanks for watching and commenting Mark👊🏻

Hi Todd. I sell strictly pine bundles. During camping season they sell better then oak bundles I price them only a 4 dollars but sell alot of them
@toddsoutsideagainКүн бұрын
Yeah, here in Southern Illinois people are still anti-Pine. They want hardwoods but I wish they were more open-minded especially the backyard fire pit folks. I’m betting they would really enjoy the smell of this pine. Thanks for watching Greg.👊🏻

@toddsoutsideagain2 күн бұрын
Yeah I hear ya! I have been burning some here in the back yard and it smells awesome. Most people turn their nose up at it here too! I’m just gonna try to sell it in cheap bundles so it doesn’t go to waste and see how it goes. I appreciate ya watching 👊🏻
@saltrock96422 күн бұрын
@@toddsoutsideagain it should workout for you if people already have good experiences with it. These people here just don’t know. I have tried it in the fire pit but it gave the weenies a lil different taste. I burn mostly pecan in the fire pit because it flavors any meat really well and it smells very sweet.

If only he'd told ya about the pine 2 yrs ago
@toddsoutsideagain2 күн бұрын
Well, he told me about it last year and I was on the fence whether I wanted it or not. Not too many folks around here entertain the idea of pine for firewood. I’m glad I revisited the idea of trying it out because it’s really nice stuff. Smells great in a fire pit. The rest of it is probably going to find its way to my woodyard.😂 thanks for watching Brandon👊🏻
