I keep watching this wonderful visual storytelling in which you have captured Laki so perfectly. He was a special man who will be greatly missed. The individual style of his beautiful work remains and continues to inspire us.

The saddest news. Had no idea he had passed away. Diyabubula was a fav. haunt of ours which we visited with a handful of close friends a few decades back. Had the most memorable times in Dambulle. Listening to Laki's life experiences were most fascinating. Still remember the currency notes he designed, and his involvement in the construction of Kandalama Hotel. Sincere condolences to his loved ones and may his soul RIP 😌🌹🌹 Dr. Chandu & Chulie de Alwis
