Yep! I never knew coconut could be combined with Chilli like that. I add peanut Chilli oil to amp up the heat but it is a beautiful dish regardless.

Thankyou so much for taking the time to show us how a a real authentic laksa variation is made! There are so many terrible videos claiming that their recipe is an authentic laksa with most of them using some kind of mass produced 'laksa paste' from the super-market. Most of which contain 621, 622, and 623 flavour enhancers. Your recipe looks fresh and vibrant and I am heading straight to the kitchen to make it for dinner. Thankyou for the inspiration and education.

@@birdseyeview219 Sorry, sometimes the messenger really captivates the monkey brain, for better or worse. Sometimes a deep genuine kindness can capture our hearts. Sometimes the worst villain can blacken our hearts. And everything else, in between. This is the burden of the monkey brain which we need to outgrow together, with kindness to each other. Thank you for writing your message to me-- I'm not sure if there was kindness motivating it or not, but the end result of your message, is kindness and wisdom.

Thank you so much for sharing your yummy recipes!! I'm currently battling terminal cancer, and the only thing I crave are Malay dishes. Especially Laksa. I lived in Sydney, where I had Laksa everyday for lunch, I then lived in London, where I didn't have it for a long time, and now I live in the US, and am craving it again. My husband has gone to buy all the ingredients at an Asian Supermarket. Your instructions are so clear, I really appreciate the effort you have put into making these videos. Thank you
