LALA FESTIVAL 2022 with English translation

The LALA earth&land festival was organized for the first time in 2020 at the Fine Crafts Club in Mošorin, a village in Vojvodina. Earth construction workshops have been held in that space for ten years, led by the architect Dragana Kojičić, who specializes in earth construction.
While the theme of the festival in 2020 and 2021 was directly related to the use of earth in the construction and decoration of houses, the 2022 edition was organized to celebrate the skills that women - although persecuted and even burned for it, nurtured centuries ago.
In addition, the witches from Mošorin are still a current topic that the locals talk about, while they hang out sitting on the benches in front of the houses. And witches are, in fact, skilled women...
Interweaving stories about witches - skilled women, with goddesses of Slavic mythology and the earth as a female symbol, an important goal of the LALA Festival 2022 was to connect the festival participants, who mostly came from the larger cities of Serbia and the region, with the local population.
