I’m confused as to why Lala feels the need for him to apologize/own up to/ take accountability TO HER. Like he doesn’t owe anyone an apology or even his sincerity to anyone but Ariana and her family. In life there is a time to be angry and a time to move on from that, it’s got to be unhealthy to constantly choose anger/resentment, even if those feelings are warranted we should choose what’s best for us. Tom has called LALA all kinds of names and has said negative things about her, which made her upset and caused their friends to take sides. At one point, Ariana also disliked LALA because of Tom's manipulative behavior. However, after Tom publicly betrayed her trust, it seems unlikely that Ariana would want to have a conversation with him, and a friendship cannot be reformed between them. Therefore, it is clear that Tom's behavior displays immaturity, not Ariana or LALA. If you wish to discuss this topic, I suggest you binge-watch all the seasons of the show before bringing it up.
