I haven’t read the manga so I didn’t know that scene with Kaminari and Jiro was coming. So, let me tell you, when he looked back I thought, what if they show Jiro. But I shook my head thinking I’m hoping for too much and they’re going to show his class. I screamed when Jiro popped up. I loved this! I’ve also seen a lot of hype around Mirko. Totally understand it now. She’s a boss!

In the manga they did show the entire class, but they also focused on Jiro whishing luck for Kaminari So they did exaggerated a bit in the anime (probably cause they know the public would like), and Denki even thinks "I wanna go back to THEM" ,but it doesn't change the fact that the manga also focused specifically on Jiro over anyone else The anime just wasn't as sutle as the manga, that's the change

just wanna add quickly: in the manga, bakugo never expresses that he is above evacuating citizens, like he does in the anime. (he does express annoyance to the citizens' slowness in evacuating but i won't spoil how or when lmao.) bones likes adding "comedic" moments that might fit into his "explosive" persona, yet if they keep adding content like this, anime-onlys will have a completely different idea of who bakugo is as a character. i just hope in future episodes they show more of who he is more accurately :DD
