It's not a chord, it's two notes. Many people say it's overtone singing, but I have a theory that she's singing one note falsetto and whistling the higher one. There's a clip with Kim Burrell and you can hear the wind against the pop shield of the mike.
@cam-ev1bv7 жыл бұрын
Guy P The debate on this is years over. It's not possible, but she does and it's not overtones. That's why she was laughing...ok here you go. OOOOOOOOOOO!! Like it's nothing! And carries on.

two notes make an interval, a chord must have three or more notes

what song is this? or whats it called when you sing like this
@caliBornbEauty9 жыл бұрын
scatting
@VirgoDar9 жыл бұрын
+Adrian De Santiago The song is called "Something", first recorded on her debut in 1990 and then again in 2013 with Snarky Puppy which earned all of them a Grammy Award. She is scatting throughout most of this video, but that wonderful sound you hear early on in the video is called chord singing. Very few singers can do it. It's even more difficult to do than the "whistle note" Mariah Carey is known for.
