Thanks for not showing too much of a show. It would have taken some of the wind out of the sails. Thats primarily why I dont get excited with Teppanyaki; after 20 visits its all the same. I think if they did a Murder On the Orient Express it would be another amazing dinner show. $90 seems a bit high but it is 1.5hr and it is a limited space venue. With 5800 guests thats one way to reduce demand. Like charging $100 for a 20 second Crowns Edge zipline experience. At least this is 1.5hr and comes with a meal :-)

cruise tip: don't bring a satchel full of bearer bonds and stock certificates with you to the Royal railroad - leave those things in your cabin safe

I would hope they would put the Royal Railroad on every ship. I would pay that in a heartbeat. But 48 people per seating with 5500+ passengers would leave most people missing the show even on a 10 night cruise. There would have to be 11 seatings per day to seat 5500. With one seating per person. But really looks like fun.

That looked like so much fun! It looks like what you'd get if you combined dinner theatre, a murder mystery dinner, and interactive theatre (back in my musical theatre days, we sometimes had the actors enter from the auditorium and engage with the audience members sitting next to the aisles; they always got a kick out of it). I can think of lots of different scenarios, including science fiction. Just think - a Star Trek diplomatic reception where nobody gets killed and you're not served those weird little gelatin cubes they ate in the Original Series.

Westminster, CO here...I'm not too fond of the last day of the cruise, too. We've taken that train ride from Denver through many stops in Colorado for real. Great train cars, and delicious dining car dinner, too. We had the trout. Can't beat the countryside travel. Traveled to Glenwood Springs and the scenery was awesome, the Moffat Tunnel is a bit smoky. The best train travel was from Durango to Silverton. The Narrow Gage Railway was a blast from the past. The railway is a federally designated National Historic Landmark. If ever in Colorado, you should try it. P.S. Those animals are Bison, not Buffalo

Sounds reasonably priced with what you get. We paid $150 per person for the dinner & show (Spellbound) on Sun Princess. It was nice but having dinner in the main dining room with a limited menu and then having to walk from the back of the ship to the middle right after eating was rough for me. I have back issues which can limit my ability to walk fast to keep up. I like that this train ride is an actual dinner show that you’re having your dinner during the actual entertainment. When I get my casino offer for Utopia, I’m definitely going to make reservations. I hadn’t even heard of this show till I watched this video. You are amazing at keeping us informed. Thanks, Tony!

It’s the same technology Universal Orlando uses for their Hogwarts express. They do a different show in each direction. So I can definitely see them enhancing and changing the storyline with this technology. The Dinner and a live show makes it even better. It’s a yes from me.

I Tony 🦬! Now that looked like an amazing time. It reminds me of a thing we have here in Halifax, Nova Scotia. We call it Dinner Theatre. You pay a 1 time charge. You get a 3 course meal along with a show. Although with our Dinner Theatre all the actors/singers are the staff. They are always in character. Even when they come to your table to serve you. Now, I want to go to one. They are also always changing the story. Thank you so much for sharing. 😁🦬🚂
