its a very dark sophisticated scent, it reminds me of the library when its raining outside. it smells so dark, like a darkness to embrace, it smells like depression, i love to wear it when i'm in a bad mood, i don't like anything sweet when i'm in a bad mood. i just want to smell something bitter then, just like life. i enjoy it in such a unique way.

I’ve found an appreciation for woody scents after purchasing Mont Blanc explorer. Something I absolutely fell in love with btw. Thank you for being honest with this review. Not every scent is for everybody but I do think I’d like the woody darkness. I’m a man in his 40s so sweetness doesn’t really suit me too well. I like how you were pretty much one with nature out there lol you and that deer were totally in sync lol. You know, for the price I can definitely see myself picking this one up. Future blind buy, so I’ll let you know my thoughts. Thank you and keep the honesty rolling 😃😁

This is one of my signature scents - but I am quite ancient now! I wear this in the evenings but Encre Noir Sport on a day-to-day basis as although it's still got a gorgeous vetiver/ smokiness, it's more "fresh". Keep up the great work :-)

I think the bottle is beautifully understated. Im especially enthralled with the aromatic/evergreen and dark, damp earth. I'm female and can wear unisex and some male frags. This one definitely has its own, dark vibe and Im here for it. I will wear it in the depths of winter. I would find it exceptionally intriguing on a male.

I've just bought this - it's a lovely fragrance. Think magical, mystical mossy damp forest with sunbeams shining through the trees - honestly it's a beautiful fragrance that last for hours and leaves a great scent trail everywhere you go. You absolutely should buy it.

The sport version is better for me. I like the original but it is a bit too rubbery. The sport version adds an aquatic element with more citrus to make it a less intimidating, making it an amazing professional scent overall.

I just got a sample and i think its extremely strong almsot gave me a headache. Im not a fan of the smell either i think that vetiver smell punches way too hard. A l'extreme is a bit better but still hard to wear. But the best one is lalique ombre noire it smells amazing but is sadly discontinued

​@@Josfordd Legend EDP is better then Fierce. A more "adult" version of Fierce, it's heavier on the wood notes and has a richer deeper Amber vibe to it. If you like the Fierce DNA this is the one to get. A lot of women love the scent and it does trigger nostalgia. But most can't point why because it's still smells different.
