Very beautiful singing indeed 👌 no doubt. But sincerely I am not in favor of mixing film songs and carnatic classical devotional songs in the same stage. Atleast not as a practice. Film songs should be sung separately in a different show. This definitely reduces the dignity of our carnatic classical and vaagaikaaras. This is my personal opinion.

Poor imitation of the song by Ranjini Gayithri of the original song sung by The legend Yesudas(who sings any song with full throw and great ease without much aangika cheste) infront of the music director Ilayaraaja to a song which had visuals of extradinory Chiranjeevi and expression queen Shobana. We cant always praise RAGA for everything and anything, Sorry. Kids from Singing competitions on TV shows render this song much better. Ofcourse, my comment seem harsh to many here but see if I care.
