Gottmik’s drag is SO important. Not only is the artistry phenomenal in and of itself, but the fact that he is the first trans man, despite Ru not being 100% receptive to the idea initially is pretty groundbreaking. Two episodes in and you’re already a winner, baby. Season 12 was tough to top, but 13 is already looking 🔥 🔥 🔥

@@aesirselaxis2323 yeah, ru thinks trans girls who already got some surgeries (like boobs etc.) have an unfair advantage over men. gottmik submitted an application for drag race 2 times before this, back when he still had tiddies. but they only let him on the show after he had top surgery. i guess i get ru's point, people who have tiddies or a coochie already do have it easier than people who have to put on fake ones and tuck each time they dress up. but at the same time... idk. demand for trans women queens is high, a lot of people seem to want it so if ru decided to let trans women on the show, he would probably receive more support than backlash to be honest.
