Not only should Lamar be the clear MVP but Marlon Humphrey should be in the consideration for DPOY.. 6int most for CB 14dfl, 10 pressures, 5tfl .5sac 2FF, 52 solo tkl, 1td, and the 3rd highest cover grade(PFF) in the NFL. But but bur Derek Henry... Yeah last year Lamar won the MVP and the ravens went 13-4 with the entire running back room on injured reserve... Derek Henry was 6-11 with the titans and has averaged 4.3 yd per carry for the last 3 years... This year he is averaging 5.9 Lamar is not having a good year because of Derek Henry, Derek Henry is having a career year at age 30 because of Lamar Jackson, That is what an MVP does makes the players around him better.. On the other hand you have James Cook on the bills who should be in MVP contention because he should have 20 rushing touchdowns by far leading the league.. But he doesn't because the Bills need to run quarterback runs at the goal line to pad Josh Allen's stats. Everybody says well Lamar has a better team and more weapons... But then they point out he has more losses, But the losses are because of defense and special teams.. So how does Lamar have a better team.. More weapons? Amari Cooper has been to the pro bowl 5 times,. That is 5 more pro bowls than any Baltimore Ravens wide receiver in the history of the franchise... Yeah that's right Baltimore has never had a wide receiver make the pro bowl.

What everyone misses whenever they discuss Lamar's playoff record is the fact that he's only run an official NFL level offense for ONE post-season, last year. His playoffs record before that is largely irrelevant because he was running a basic option offense without any talent at WR. He wasn't an experienced pocket passer/defense reader, so it was always a matter of time before defenses figured him out. THIS YEAR, however, is a completely different animal. Lamar is doing basically everything at an extremely high level. This will be a Ravens playoffs unlike anything seen before.

Thank you, I have mentioned this for years! Put LJ in a Mahommes or Brady system and he flourishes more than they did. Put Mahommes and Brady in the system LJ played in Roman's system would not be so gracious to them. I am certain! That "Goat" stuff does not include context. LJ is the MJ of the League. If the Steelers beat the Bengals, and the Ravens lose to the Browns, the Steelers win the Division, so Lamar has to play. They would only be locked into the 3 seed if the Steelers lose, and the games are almost certainly going to be at the same time.

The difference btween regular season Lamar and Playoff season Lamar is that he didn't have a pro-bowler on offense with him. Now that he has Henry, things will be different. On the other hand, Allen has had help. It's seems like the voters are going to penalize Lamar for the same reason they are praising Allen!
