I can think of a lot ( coming from someone who loves mobile QBs) he gets way too much credit for his team’s success, he can’t throw, he acts like he can throw, he taunts the other team (watch the patriots game), he thinks he’s cool, he’s a product of a scheme, he’s borderline illiterate, he thinks everyone hates on him when the analyst were just judging off the tape like they do for every other player, I can go on for days.

The media tried to make Lamar the scapegoat. That was the worst play calling I’ve ever seen in my life. Marty only called five plays for the first three quarters. Once we let Lamar play his game he led us to a near comeback win. The “Ravens fans booed Lamar” narrative was misleading because he was the only bright spot in that game. Most of us have been done with Flacco for years even before the Super Bowl. 99% of Ravens fans have been behind Lamar from the draft and a lot of us liked him at Louisville.

I actually disagree. I was with him until the SAS part. 1) If you're a fan of a team and your franchise QB goes out for the season, it's devastating. As a Colts fan, I felt the same way. You chalk up that season as a L. 2) In context, it wasn't all that spectacular of a performance considering they played the Jets. This was late in the season and we already knew the inabilities of the Jets D. This kind of performance was expected from him. It was much more impressive when he did it to the Rams and the Texans a couple weeks earlier considering they were much better defenses. The jets had already accumulated 5 blowout losses during the season before they played the Ravens. 1 of them was a shutout by the Pats and another was a 22-6 loss to the now 1st overall pick Bengals. While it's impressive to throw 5TDs in a game, it loses it's cache when it's against the Jets.

On the Cam Newton comparison is the example I used when I was talking to my pops about Lamar Jackson, not that they're exactly the same, in Talent OR skill set, but in the type of player they are and what they mean to the team. Most quarterbacks lead the offense but mostly in just the passing game and are required to do their job as far as completions and QB rating to make sure they're being efficient and that's their job. But for players like Lamar and Cam Newton they are pretty much the team and without them the team is nothing and the team is not just happy when they run for first downs but it is expected out of these two players to make crucial runs and crucial passes there for carrying the whole team on their back. As with Lamar Jackson Cam Newton their style of play causes a team to lean on them in the passing game and in the running game and this type of player youse open to injuries more often. And cam is a big man that has been durable and able to withstand the punishment, but even he has been injured because of his style of play. there style of play causes a team to lean on them in the passing game and in the running game and this type of player is open to injuries more often. and so Lamar Jackson is playing very well but at some point he will start getting hit hard on those runs, so really Baltimore should enjoy it while it lasts what overtime Lamar Jackson will have to grow into being more of a pocket passer and just running for first downs when they need them or break down the field if he sees a big opening, but he's a great quarterback and eventually he will be injured but all quarterbacks and players in the NFL get injured so he should keep doing his thing and I wish him the best unless he has to play my Saints or my Tennessee Titans LOL

So I saw this video in my feed and went back and saw the other videos... I have not been a big NFL fan. Being from Louisville, Kentucky, my family and friends are huge on college sports. That was when we fell in love with Lamar Jackson: when he was a Louisville Cardinal. We were frustrated with his later seasons because it felt as though he was on the field all alone with no help. The boy can play some serious ball, and we followed him to the NFL. When we heard last season that Flacco was injured and that Lamar was going to see time, we started watching Ravens games. We became fans purely because of Lamar. And this season, we watch every game almost as fervently as the college games, excited to see what the coach built around Lamar over the off-season. Lamar has had that effect on us, on our family. We love watching him make magic on the field. That said, I never heard about the racist things being said about him. We heard some casts calling him out as a flash-in-the-pan kind of QB...that running QBs don't last...that he'll be injured - hearing all that is disgusting. And yet here we are seeing even more of a movement against the MVP. There's a reason that he seems so impossible; it's because he's such a phenomenal athlete. He is a once-in-a-generation kind of breed that will redefine his position, his job. The Ravens can build a dynasty around Lamar because he is special. I'm pissed to hear about those who want to "rough him up" to see if he will last. That is a disgusting mentality that should have more people fired. Fuck those haters. Lamar has been wonderful for years now, and he finally gets to spread his wings and fly under the Ravens banner. We can see the improvement that the Ravens have had on him over the last year especially. I can't wait to continue to watch the MVP go to town on the NFL and make them bow. He's a respectful young man, and my family loves the fuck outta him. May the MVP reign for years to come!

Its like Donald Trump itis everywhere. I was hoping Lamar would go 4 and 3 last year. This year i was hoping for 10 and 6 Prejudice comes in all flavors. Now if Lamar gets hurt at any time or loses a playoff game it will be i told you so. The Hatred is making Lamar better. If the Ravens just play their normal game and Lamar is composed they will be champs IF we get to the superbowl its a home game just like the dolphin game was in Lamar's back yard

@shaunharris46625 жыл бұрын
Man, I just found your commentary, but damn you're good! You are spot on about this! Most of those media so-called experts did't even watch LJ8 when he was at Louisville. If they had, they'd know the Ravens had actually gotten the best QB in that draft when they took him as the last pick in the 1st round. If you didn't know that then you were probably listening to the likes of McShay and Kiper and other so-called media draft experts. They not only didn't believe in LJ8 as a QB, they mocked the kid and criticized him and jeered because he had his mother as his Business Manager. They tried to humiliate the kid because he dared to insist he wanted to play QB in the NFL, and he refused to work out for teams if they wanted to work him out as a WR. I'm glad YOU brought this up to remind people what the talk was about this kid before and during the draft and even after he went to camp. You are spot on about ALL 4 of these guys, but you couldn't be more right about Gottlieb and especially Stephen A. Keep it up brother!

GWD I won't lie I hate on Lamar Jackson not because I don't think he is not a good QB because he a great Qb. I hate on him because he destroyed my Texans. Now with that said I a big hopes for Lamar Jackson. That he can do this same kind of performance for years to come. The reason why I have this hope is because I want to see him being amazing. Also because I want him and Deshaun Watson and Patrick Mahomes to keep playing and pushing each other to be better then they are now. Because right now they are all doing amazing things. But I want them to continue to get better.

I want to know where all the people from Cleveland at calling me an idiot, when I told them they should have picked Lamar Jackson the first overall pick over stubby immature Baker Mayfield, and the rest of those sorry fake hype quarterbacks, before the draft, Walt Disney which owns Fox, and ESPN is trying its hardest to save face by having those analyst, like Coward to come out from dawging Lamar Jackson before the draft , because it makes them seem like now they don't have no credibility to analyze. The draft is quite obvious a political control entity just like everything else from the Super Bowl to the Heisman Trophy anytime you got a lot of white people judging something it's quite hard to be fair.

Hey man, I'm not sure how often you can put up some video, however listening to you makes me happy and angry at the same time. Happy to know im mor the only one seeing what's going on, unhappy because more football fans (not just from Baltimore) should be able to hear the truth being told with facts, and rid the media that craves controversy so much so that there's nothing that feels genuine anymore. Love your videos bro.

Bro, you are the Goat! You inspire me to make Football talk videos man lol. I be explaining stuff to people about how LJ is just different that what we are use to seeing from a mobile QB, and I'm a Baltimore Ravens fan since we had Kyle Boller and Jamal Lewis and our Defense was nasty sauce but I was going to be a LJ fan regardless of what team he went to and I didn't think we would actually draft him, I looked at the off season talks about it but I was like, ok that makes sense because we have RGIII.
