Most definitely, the Interceptions and sacs have kept the opposing teams from scoring, which is so pivotal in Ravens victories because if the offense is putting double digits and the other team is as well then the offense has to work even harder. These guys have prevented that from happening. That Kyle Hamilton has been a beast at making sure that doesn't happen. He has been on FIRE since he stepped on the field. I believe he is a rookie or second year. He is a problem for any opposing offense. But he has been phenomenal, always in front of the action. He is a future Pro Bowl candidate

It was group think. The league assumed that Lamar was a product of the Greg Roman offense. Ignorantly ignoring that he played in a Pro Style passing offense at Louisville. We should have been thankful he achieved what he did, with bottom 5 WR corps and the worst passing scheme in the league. Even this year, his weapons aren’t like, top 5 or anything. Nor is the scheme and play-calling. It just gives him a decent chance to showcase what he can do and you're seeing what's happening. Imagine Lamar with a Hill and Waddle, or Samuel and Aiyuk, or Brown and Smith. It would be absurd.

We expect some of these guys to keep building and put themselves in that conversation but they haven't done it yet. Elite talent Marlon Humphrey top 15 Roquan Smith -top 10 Patrick Queen- 1st round pick Clowney was the #1 overall pick Marcus Williams 2nd round. Top 40 Darby. Top 40 Rock ya sin. 40 Kyle Hamilton- top 15 1st team all -pro. lol. Kyle Van Noy - top 40 Justin Madibuke - 2nd team All- Pro wasn’t a project. He was HIM from day one. He left a year too early, had a reputation of taking plays off. Fell to the Ravens in the 3rd. He like the mid round picks are earn their stripes, and develop like the many guys littered throughout the NFL who’ve been Pro Bowl caliber with other teams. Also I didn’t mention Odafe Oweh, he and David Ojabo both elite athletes. Oweh doesn’t get the shine like Madibuke didn’t because he shares snaps with the veterans ~ The depth is and has always been tremendous. When starters are out like Humphrey, he’s replaced by a high quality, proven veteran with a high pedigree of his own in Ronald Darby. This is the Ravens third all time best defense, 2006 is first. Better than the 2009 Ravens. Only other team to have 3DPOY winners on the same team other than the 70’s Steelers. The 2000 defense ~ imma keep it 100. The Ravens played some bum QB’s that season. I went to a bunch of games. The old rules, crazy the Ravens were beating teams 9-0, 6-3 cause the offense went a month without scoring a touchdown. Then this team. By far the deepest defensive team with quality depth. The defensive line depth is ridiculous, and it’s two great players on IR. This is the best DC that they’ve had. Marvin Lewis in 2000 Rex Ryan 2006 Nah. They had cheat code players. Especially Rex Ryan. My bad. That team other than this Ravens team as the most balanced. Steve McNair (RIP) sold that game. Ahhhh man. That was our chip for sure.

Lamar looks like he’s finally reached greatness this year. He doesn’t panic and scrambles right away anymore he stepped up his game in the pocket and no longer one dimensional and adds to his scheme. He overcame that and became an overall better player, can’t say that about cam he preferred to make excuses instead of getting better in the pocket. Being a Louisville fan, I obviously watched every snap of his college career. The amount of slander this kid received thru the draft process alone was infuriating. The fact that the slander continued after his 2019 season was insane and clearly just hate…people sure do hate to admit when they’re wrong. Biggest giveaway that his haters actually never cared to watch the tape was all the injury slander…never missed a game at Louisville and when he ran he was incredible at avoiding big hits from defenders, sometimes even delivering the blow to defenders who weren’t in position. Elite arm, ultra competitive, elite agility, with a tier one football IQ…tough to beat that. Any scout who doubted this kid should no longer be employed.

Clarification, Roquan isn’t the only All Pro nor potential HOF: 1st Team All Pro: Roquan Smith Kyle Hamilton 2nd Team All Pro Justin Madubuike Patrick Queen But yeah, I can’t speak to whether or not Queen and Mads will be future HOF players or if this is an outlier season amongst their respective careers, but if Hamilton stays healthy, he’s undoubtedly going to be a HOF, he’s a top 3 safety in this league and just put up numbers that surpassed the best season from Sean Taylor’s best NFL season. Lamar has this great calmness and demener around his presents NOING when to run or pass showing soft touch passes when necessary at angles where his receivers can get I would love to see him doing more faint pump fakes to confuse secondary for dump offs to runners to create longer passes or other options offense defense special team's relax and have fun.

Baltimore has a history of coming up and dominating any NFL team. Even in the Super Bowl. I still remember Colin Kaepernick. He was the quarterback the last time the 49ers played the Baltimore Ravens in the Super Bowl. I believe Kaepernick is more disrespected by all the owners that need a quarterback. The Chiefs have the #2 defense in the league this year. (Ravens are #1, 49ers are #3, Lions are #23.) Offensively, the Chiefs are #15 (49ers #3, Ravens #4, Lions#5.) But Chiefs are peaking, 9ers are creaking. Chiefs D and not Mahomes has carried the team this year, if you’ve been watching the games. But Mahomes-Kelce is the X factor when the game is tight, so they could make it. But Lamar and crew are going to probably prevail. Baltimore D can harass Mahomes; Chiefs D has no answer for Lamar.
