Im a Ravens fan so I'll break this down he would be 14-2 and then John would be like hey take 3 WEEKS off come back rusty have Michael Throw 100 times and watch his receivers drop and drop and drop. Then when you do work to move the chains and you are in field goal range even though you have the best kicker in the league you know what naw lets go for it and stall out any possible chance of momentum. While all this is happening you are doing all you can and have good numbers but it wont matter because in the end you will lose then last when you are sitting on the sideline you watch a running back decimate you defense and also see your defense get torched for two PASSING plays but then when its over you get blamed for it all somehow.

Y'all saying that Lamar is "more athletic" than Vick... Must either be shorties, or older cats who forgot how unquantifiably athletic young Vick was? He made the unbelievable look routine. And to this day, I've never seen a greater athlete at that position. Michael was arguably the greatest athlete in football, no matter the position, which made it that much more crazy he was the QB. Where you can make a stronger argument for my man Lamar.. is that he's the better, more polished QB of the two, at that age. He has a nice arm, and great grasp of where, and what to do with the ball. Then you add on the fact, that he's in the ballpark with Vick as an athlete? Is what makes him so deadly. But as it pertains to pure athleticism? There is only one Mike Vick. 4.27 40, and could whistle a ball 50 yards with the flick of the wrist.

One big difference between Jackson and Vick is that when Vick came in his style of play had never been seen before. When Jackson comes in everyone will know that he's going to run. It's going to be interesting to see where he's drafted. I just hope that he doesn't get drafted as a backup, or by an organization that can't develop their rookies well (hmm, Browns, hmm).

In the NFL Vick played in pro-styles offenses and gained yards on his dynamic running abilities. In the NFL Jackson plays in a run oriented Pistol Offense and gains yards on set run plays and his elusiveness. Overall Mike Vick is better because he can play and perform in a pro-style NFL offense. Jackson can't do that yet. he needs to develop and be consistent in his throwing technique. Love dem both. But being a Ravens fan I have to support Lamar

Lamar plays in an offense much more centered around the quarterback than Mike did. It's tough to compare for that reason. What isn't tough to compare though is each team's success under each quarterback. Michael Vick lost two games in college. One game was the Sugar Bowl (National Championship that year) where Mike almost singlehandedly won that game for Tech. The other was the 2000 Miami team and he didn't play the full game because of an injury. Lamar has lost three games as a true sophomore (basically the equivalent to Mike's redshirt freshman year). The Clemson game he basically kept Louisville in it. They had no business losing to Houston and Kentucky though. I have to give Mike the edge.
