Same thing I feel in the NBA. Jordan winning 6 titles and LeBron making like 12 finals. Guys like Harden, Joker, Stockton, Malone and many others don’t get the respect they deserve. I always say about Brady and LeBron playing this well at their age. It can happen doesn’t mean every great player can and we have to be okay with that. It’s just crazy talk for the standards with media and Twitter media these days

@romallama4414 күн бұрын
Almost like what the NBA does with Jordan and LeBron to everybody else? If the media only values winning, then it’s only a matter of time before players and teams realize the regular season doesn’t matter outside of making the playoffs, you’ve got the pro bowl/all star game becoming muck, does the NFL eventually get too non contact like the NBA? Then u have players complaining to refs, because the refs are told they aren’t allowed to let them get too physical, because owners sell more tickets with their stars healthy, and TV networks have more people watching, so they tell Adam Silver to keep the refs blowing the whistle, while us, the fans, scream for a more physical NBA because we pay to see the players play, and refs and load management are ruining that, along with the media telling these guys they’re worthless chumps unless they play all 82 and never lose in the finals, and why are players load managing? Sure u can blame the organization, but in reality it’s “Nobody will remember me missing 5-10 random games throughout January and February” that’s the thought process, if so and so is hurt for games 3 and 4 in the ECF, he’s getting shamed and castrated that guys in the 90’s and Jordan’s era wouldn’t do that, but if he sits out now there’s less chance he’ll be hurt in the playoffs. I’m worried the NFL is going down this path, if it isn’t already, and it took the NBA 5-10 years to go from the early 2010’s to this garbage. It’s a slipppppeeerrrryy slope.

Love how Wright doesn't have the same standards for Lamar as everyone else. "Would you rather have a blank resume or a resume with a bunch of failures". Keep that same energy when it comes to Allen in the postseason. Allen has only beaten rookie QBs and backup QBs in the playoffs. He's 1-4 against teams playing with their starting QB and that 1 win was against an 8-9 team. If Lamar has failed every postseason, so has Allen. Tell me what Allen has won. I'll wait.

If Lamar plays well in the playoffs and wins the Super Bowl this year then that will be arguably one of the greatest single seasons of a QB in NFL history because it will represent a massive turnaround and will demonstrate a giant leap in individual player growth the likes of which we have never seen. He’s already shown he can do it with the game against the Steelers a few weeks ago which is the walking before the running (playing lights out in the playoffs and winning the ring). Even with Henry at RB that will be massively impressive. It will also likely mean he did it against top tier opponents like the Chiefs playoff run last year (assuming they play Bills in divisional and Chiefs in AFCCG). I do agree though I think Lamar will eventually win a Super Bowl even if it isn’t this year. If I had to make a decisive prediction though I expect him to make a Super Bowl and lose then the next year make it and win even though that has never been the case with a QB who loses their SB debut. I feel like he will just keep getting a little closer and then eventually break through. I could be wrong though he could win it all this year with Henry at RB and all those pro bowlers.

While your shading Lamar, the Peyton manning stat line where he played the patriots they had 7 dbs on the field the whole game and challenged Peyton to check run everytime. Football ain’t basketball. Lamar first playoff game he was without mark andrews Andrew’s and Ingram. Were they disappointing losses but how often was he favored, should he have been favored in some. I feel Lamar s age and style get used against him way too much. Dude is unarguably a top 4 qb and he beat cool Joe and Josh Allen 3 times so for me he’s number 2. Pat mahomes playoff record is ungodly but dude gets outplayed every Super Bowl.

Nick is so predictable in his picks. Even before watching the video I can predict who he will pick. LAC (much better team) PIT (Tomlin big underdog) TB (loves Baker) LAR (likes Stafford) PHI and BUF (trying to adopt Saquon and Josh AFTER they have proven to be great this year)

Its always “lamars playoff struggles” lmao never the coaching, never the lack of stars hes played with, its all on lamar 😂 hope he win that sb this year so people can stop bringing it up cuz thats the only knock left on his game

Bro people still say Rodgers is a bad playoff QB when his defense was giving up 35 points per game in his playoff losses. Narratives stick whether they are true or not.
@Dannycuddy15 күн бұрын
@@hiphopotamus69except Lamar’s defenses only allow 15.8ppg in the playoffs… like the defenses have been legit unreal and he still has a losing record.. apples and oranges from Rodger’s defenses allowing 30+

Why are you putting quotation marks around Lamar’s playoff struggles, it’s not a hypothetical statement. It doesn’t matter wether you include the Texans game or not, he’s been overall an enormous let down in the playoffs

If you get a gambling sponsor, it's going to eliminate the credibility of the picks.

ESPN has a whole sports gambling BUSINESS. Bettors clearly don’t care. I mean they should, but they don’t.
@TylerHolt-n5q15 күн бұрын
@mvalovalo I do, but true sports fans haven't watched ESPN for over a decade. It's just basic logic. They have an incentive to manipulate the way you bet.

Right.. the picks are why they keep lying about lamars / Joshs stats this year like Josh allens stts are anywhere close to lamars this year. Less Tds, less yards, more interceptions, and Lamar lost 2 games because his kicker misses fgs from less than 40 yards
@maxdesimus207215 күн бұрын
Nick.. MVP has nothing to do with playoff record!!! 😅

Nick all you do is try to degrade Jacksons Mvp season. Im convinced you placed a bet on Josh Allen to win mvp.
@brandonburkart648315 күн бұрын
I don’t think play off loses are all the same, what if Lamar loses scoring 30+ on the chiefs and balls out but the defence doesn’t come through? So it’s a little tough to judge it unless he Forsure is the reason they lose

You lost nick.. i hope lamar wins the mvp just so you lose your bet

Antsy DOES NOT mean nervous. Your entire cockamamie premise is based on a misunderstanding or misuse of the word “antsy”. And your disdain of Lamar intermittently and recently getting more adulation and acclaim than Mahomes, of course

What does it mean then? Because it means nervous, so how could it not mean nervous?

@ It means excitable; hurried; restless; impatient Those could be caused by nervousness but are not synonymous with nervousness By the way, based on his play vs Pitt he looked neither antsy nor nervous😊
