In case you were actually curious; It’s because Randy is an extremely well trained, disciplined vocalist. ‘Screaming’ like this isn’t what it seems, it’s not just brutalizing your vocal folds to sound scary. Like any instrument, it takes thousands of hours of practice and training to avoid destroying your vocal folds over the course of years. So he’s able to sound like this consistently because he’s a consummate professional who takes great care of his instrument.

The consistency in their live performances surprises me every single time. On a lighter note, saruman, young Dumbledore and jesus in the same band😅
