Love a Pathia. A lot of people haven't heard of it and quite a lot of restaurants don't always have it on the menu but can make it on request in my experience

Parthia is old traditional Parsi dish mostly made using fish , tamarind and jaggery is used to get a tangy and sweet taste , I am Indian and a chef worked in india for a long time I have never heard of pathia made with tomato ketchup and mango chutney what we make in uk please get your facts right before calling it an indian curry cheers .
@YelpBullhorn3 жыл бұрын
@@uttamchat in the UK we tend to define the term "Indian cuisine" as any dish associated with the Indian subcontinent - India, Pakistan, Bangladesh and Sri Lanka. Here, sometimes you will also see wonderful dishes from other countries in the region on their menus too; countries such as Nepal, Afghanistan and Iran, even Mauritius. And let's not forget some of our most popular curries here were curries actually invented in the UK by talented, eager-to-please and eager-to-succeed chefs; curries such as Chicken Tikka Masalla and balti. So to us, the only place you can get a pathia is in an Indian restaurant. Although most of our UK Indian restaurants are actually run by Bangladeshis or Pakistanis. Confusing? Yes Awesome food? Double yes!
@uttamchat3 жыл бұрын
@@YelpBullhorn I totally agree with you but please don't call it a Indian dish if you don't know how to make it . Call it Bangla deshi , Pakistani, whatever you like but not Indian because Indians don't even know a dish like this . Please don't make us ashamed by adding Indian to it. I hope I have made it clear .
