Well off to get some lamb shanks, at last a recipe I have been waiting for, not sure where I will get wild fennel, and spring onions more like bloody leeks LOL our spring onions are a lot and you know a lot smaller then you get out there but a great recipe It going to be one o,f if not the best recipe you have put up my friend, a true Taste Buddies top, top dish. GERT LUSH.

We know you love your lamb shanks Steve...you're going to adore this!! OK...it's not the Olive Tree lamb shank (Lakis still not ready to divulge that one!), but it's an absolutely fabulous recipe. If you can't get wild fennel herb, use dill instead..will work just as well. Leeks will change the flavour slightly, but make a suitable substitute if you can't find spring onions either. As the saying goes...you know your onions!! Cook and enjoy dear friend!

As you well know, I am somewhat partial to this certain cut of lamb. I'll have this on next weekends dinner list. Not quite a stunning as the Lamb, but the sky and the weather when you were in the garden looks beautiful (almost as nice as the weather here in the UK......NOT)!!!
