Is 4 liters too much water? I have made this twice and followed the recipe exactly, but after the 2 hours mine has never reduced as much as yours in the video. I dont get a thick gravy. I have much water leftover. I take that water and use it for cooking the rice instead of the plain water. Im not sure what I'm doing wrong. The recipe still comes out very delicious but I can never manage to create that gravy.

I did that because i pressure cooked the meat and didnt have the patience do reduce all the liquid. So i just eyeballed how much broth was in the pot (about 2 cups) and only added 3 cups of water. The point is to barely cover your rice with liquid as in the video. I only had currants not raisins and it came out beautifully!

Asad Rashid If you want to make a butter cake, the easiest method is to use equal weights of flour, eggs, sugar and butter. That is where the name of the Pound Cake came from, since it contained a pound of each those four ingredients. You can use 1 kg of flour, 1 kg of eggs, 1 kg of sugar and 1 kg of butter.
