I just discovered Lambchop just about a month ago even though I thought I was "in the loop" with so-called alt country. Wow, what a revelation!

I _think_ I was first introduced to Lampchop in 2002 (sounds about right...) - in New Zealand at Bar Bodega (the new version, upstairs - after the motorway extension forced the move of the original by Aro Street (will have exact info somewhere in storage) - had heard about them for years (long story) - first time actually hearing the music - wow, just wow - WOW

"sorry to have been a disruption in your day" - I don't - wow - words fail me - such a lovely, talented, humble man - haven't heard ANY of these songs before - love them all, especially that last one

I honestly can't remember when I discovered Lambchop, but they quickly moved towards the top of my music collection. Kurt has the most soulful voice. I'm still very suspicious that I've never seen him and Morgan Freeman in the same place at the same time...

Duranarts Indeed! I have always loved what he brings as a vocalist and writer to Lambchop. I had no idea he was such a bad-ass on the guitar, too.

I definitely have some of the books on that shelf. Probably some of the CDs on the shelf too but I can't see them close enough. This guy's a nervous wreck and a beautiful genius. Whatever, I'm still not going back to Nashville. I might go back to D.C. though, take a look at those CDs...
