Quality bit of kit. As a mechanic I’m a massive fan of the home enthusiast and bodge locks, they just bring me so much electrical repair work.

Your really getting into the track day scene. I just did my second track day myself after 12 year. Crashed on my first track day. I was young and pushing it to hard. This time I took it slower and enjoyed the whole day. Can’t wait till my next one.

100% fit the link pipe Chops, I have on mine with the PC5, sound is perfect, not too loud and flat spot improved a lot

Fascinating that we can get stuff that only a works team would have had a few years back. Had mixed results with those crimp type connectors personally, might be worth getting a good auto electrician to do them properly. Great vid as always.

Thanks for the overview Chops! I'd love to add this to my bike but with it being on PCP I don't like the idea of using scotch locks or doing any splicing of the bikes wiring! A proper plug in solution would be very welcome and that does appear to be the aim eventually. On a nerdy note I have found that the text files exported by the app are not proper CSV files; the values are separated by semi-colons and not commas... I've done a "find and replace" to swap these around - and also swapped square brackets for normal brackets - and I'm getting some luck reading the data into my telemetry program (Telemetry Overlay) but it's not plain sailing! I'll be dropping the Healtech guys a note with my findings so far 😊

Race render 3 for pc is what I use. You can import all sorts of data and overlay it onto video. Been using it for years, it’s cheap but very good. Nice vid choppsy

A fantastic tool for the amateur club racer. Looking forward to the full track day vlog, Chopsy. Love the full analogue GSX-R bikes of yesteryear!!! ❤❤

Great workshop video again Chops. It doesn't seem that long ago that a means of recording lap times was some guy standing beside the track with a stop watch !🤣 How times of changed and technology has advanced.....blows my mind.

Was looking at one of these units but use race chromo at minute but only one hz using phone so need to look Into something like this but would want to overlay the data sure u cant use something like circuit tools by Vbox to do it?

Thats pretty good going Mark a 151 I would say 👍 I don't know vbox so possibly it could work.. Will give it a try 👍

Please could you do a review of all the Knox gear that you wear. I know you’re sponsored by them, but you seem to think that it’s good gear. Please could you enlighten us as to why. Many thanks from a very grateful subscriber.

Not needing a datalogger myself but interesting video all the same. Really wanted to find out how the quick shifter performed like you said you'd report on from your previous fitting video. Did it work as expected or did you have to do some tweaking? Probably more relevant for those contemplating a quick shifter on an older bike like you who never had a factory fitted option.

Off topic of the data logger, but are your Dainese leathers off the peg or custom? I seem to remember from previous videos that you’re on the taller side and carry a bit more load (tried to word that politely lol) which is a bit like myself. At 6’ 5” and around 18 stone, I’m struggling to find leathers that fit as I’m not the typical dimensions, but as yet I haven’t tried Dainese. Wondering if they could be the solution 🤷🏻♂️ Failing that, it’s going to be made to measure I think.
@LambChopRides2 жыл бұрын
These are actually off the peg, the air suit has more stretch panels so get a bit of extra space! It's the biggest size Dainese do, I think 64... but don't quote me on that 👍

@bryansuperduke1290r2 жыл бұрын
So what do you do on track, set GOS location of start/fannish line for lap counting?
@LambChopRides2 жыл бұрын
Don't have to do anything Bryan, if it's a track which is loaded it knows the start finish line position. If its a new track it just chooses a location for the start finish line.
@Healtech-electronics2 жыл бұрын
On an unknown track, you have to add the start/finish line by pointing it on the map in the map view.

Scotch locks are terrible, allow water to ingress the inner copper core and corrode the loam, will give all sorts of problems over time. I would go round and cut, solder and heat shrink with the glue type heat shrink to seal the splices and loam again once you are happy and everything is working… well worth the time.
@K-carbon2 жыл бұрын
Spot on scotch locks are rubbish even with so call gel in them big ugly things
