Hi Chopsy, Seems like a good bargain😃! Looking forward to your SP-introduction💪

The price of this bike is amazing. Not sure how they are doing it for the price. Especially when you think £1,500 of it is VAT. They are all making their cut out of £7,500....

I def think the SP is the one to get, although can see the fun for the channel in getting the base one and adding your own farkles... but having the Ohlins and quickshifter and better brakes out the box does save a spend and def worth the £1k more on purchase price.

Yeah absolutely agree Pete, I'm really not a fan of matt paint though as sure it will mark very easy..But could have it all painted a lovely gloss black instead haha 👍

i cant wait to see your sp, and a real spirited ride in your usual lcr vibe lol, im also quite interested in this one, my first bike was a honda cg125 then a cb125r then finally got round to doing my bigboy test on a cb650r, wasnt keen on the cb1000 so strayed away from honda, curently triumph but now there seemes to bee a bit of exitement to return back to the brand im just in that conflicted stage to sell my street tripple and get one of these or wait a year and keep the tripple as a second bike... hmmmmm decisions dessisions lol

I prefer the Z900 to this, but I have to say the extra hp of the Hornet is hard to ignore, it will be interesting to see if Kawasaki can remain competitive with the price compared to this!!

Nice looking bike, but its not for me. 150hp? Its probably closer to 130hp on the dyno. Doesnt have the grunt of the legit super nakeds, its more likely on par with the Street Triple RS power wise and the Triumph has more features and refinement. Glad Honda is doing this though, seems like Honda and Suzuki are not putting much into their motorcycle development these days.

Great vid as always, cheers. Be interesting to see which ‘essential’ mods you sort out on your SP version. I can see that exhaust being gently placed in the nearest skip. 😂

Nice video as always. You are out of touch if you thought £12-13k for. Such a bike too my friend. You been riding big Bimmers too much which normalise these ludicrously expensive bikes. No wonder all the dealerships are starting to go bust.

Isn’t Honda bringing back V4’s with a VFR 800 and 1000? To me not using one of those in a “street fighter” style naked bike seems like a missed opportunity. They’d have zero competition for cheaper V4 naked bikes and those types of engines are absolutely amazing.
@LambChopRides12 сағат бұрын
They had an electric supercharger v triple if that's what you are referring too? Not sure there is a v4 in development

Honda have embarrassed themselves by cloning a Z1000. Be a bit original guys. The closeups show it’s built to a price , the Kwackas are way better finished.

Looking forward to the bike reveal And mods! Can I ask you bought this bike for content and because of the interest around it, but if you were buying a sports naked with your money for your own private enjoyment what would your choice be including pre owned ? I note you love the ‘22 S1000R and Speed 1200RS and MT10 so wanted to know

Yeah good question, probably the 1390 Superduke or M1000R. But not sure I can bring myself to pay the price of them.. M1000R would certainly be a used competition pack one. What I love about this Hornet is the feeling of the handling, feels really good, like the bikes above I mentioned 👍

Switch gear is definitely illuminated on the sp, I agree the seat is small & firm which is ok for me but there’s also an alcantara seat available for around £120 extra. 👊✊️✊️but when you mention (competitors) I don’t believe this 1 litre bike at its price point, being a quality built Honda has one. 👊✊️✊️
