I'm here to witness that I was a victim of Peter Ball, the Bishop of Lewes. It took a long time to bring him to justice, but unfortunately justice has not been done and the church is trying to forget it ever happened. Talk of reconciliation is insulting when you have been silenced and disbelieved for decades, so let's not talk of reconciliation. Let's talk about compensation shall we? Maybe this is not the right place, but it's too late for all that now. You had the opportunity to negotiate a reasonable settlement, but instead what you gave us was an insult to our dignity and to our value as human beings. So be it. The very public humiliation of the church of england will begin in earnest in the New Year. I wish you all a restful holiday as you will need to be at your most effective in the coming months, which will be exhausting for you all. Believe me!

One of the most radical aspects of liberation theology was the social organization, or reorganization, of church practice through the model of Christian base communities. Liberation theology strove to be a bottom-up movement in practice, with biblical interpretation and liturgical practice designed by lay practitioners themselves, rather than by the orthodox Church hierarchy. In this context, sacred text interpretation is understood as "praxis". Liberation theology seeks to interpret the actions of the Catholic Church and the teachings of Jesus Christ from the perspective of the poor and disadvantaged. By approaching theology "from the perspective of the poor", Liberation Theologians believe that they can turn the poor who are "the object of church teaching to the subject of church action" (Edward Russell).[citation needed] In Latin America, liberation theologians specifically target the severe disparities between rich and poor in the existing social and economic orders within the nations' political and corporate structures. It is a strong critique of the various economic and social structures, such as an oppressive government, dependence upon First World countries and the traditional hierarchical Church, that allow some to be extremely rich while others are unable to even have safe drinking water.[9] The journalist and writer Penny Lernoux described this aspect of liberation theology in her numerous and committed writings intended to explain the movement's ideas in North America. Base communities were small gatherings, usually outside of churches, in which the Bible could be discussed, and Mass could be said. They were especially active in rural parts of Latin America where parish priests were not always available, as they placed a high value on lay participation. In May 2007, it was estimated that 80,000 base communities existed in Brazil.[23] Contemporaneously, Fanmi Lavalas in Haiti, the Landless Workers' Movement in Brazil, and Abahlali baseMjondolo in South Africa are three organizations that make use of liberation theology.

Dear the Archbishop: With all my admiration and respect. I write you to ask and implore you; to rise your voice about the current political and social issues in our world. Like; the Trump administration, the banning of Muslims into USA and his future visit our country. The Pope Francis has been very vocal about this issues. We need your voice and advice. Kind Regards.

With due respect to Jesus and His followers. Could anyone reveal honestly and with evidence the story or history if you may of Jesus' life from age 12 to 30. And also of His death and burial. Then you may go on to preach the truth.

"The Archbishop says the Church 1) "exists to worship God in Jesus Christ; 2) exists to make new disciples of Jesus Christ." Mamma Mia, he left out the MOST IMPORTANT thing! The Church exists for our eternal salvation! All the Church fathers emphasized this point.

Wealth creation and power over the people is the main reason for the established church.. It supported the slave trade for centuries and made massive fortunes from the sugar plantations in the West Indies.

Evangelism has to be your life not your words or proclamations, people have to see it not hear it,just like love you must see it not here it hearing it is burying your talent in the dirt,if the church is to thrive the common people must believe in it, not just the eletist you pretends now and Again, but the option who rely on it not those who can take it or leave it.
