this is one of the best takes on patchwork staccato imo. the original song is more or less abt trying to move on from a break up (which jubyphonic translates quite nicely) but your take is more abt... *moving on for yourself.* something about your lyrical take makes it contemplative and introspective which makes it unique from other english takes (and even the original song itself lol). that unique lyrical take combined with your lovely voice makes for a brilliant cover of toa's patchwork staccato. felt like commenting because i've been streaming this for over a year now and it's unbelievable that i haven't said anything abt it yet waaaaa
