I love how Meg was guarding that little lamb (sibling to the hung lamb), making sure it didn't wander off, giving it a little lick here and there. What a great dog! And that sheep that walked off - "Whit? It wisnae me! Ah'm aff tae hae ma bath"!

THAT was the best line ever please subscribe if you like and even if you don't subscribe anyway! :-) Also I loved the beginning song it reminded me of my friends father who was Scottish and he loved that band. I would walk 500 miles...his favorite. When he passed away their home was about 1/2 mile from the little church and his wish was for us to start at the house and march singing that song to the Church. And we did. Blasting our lungs! That even may be a Scottish tradition I do not know. That was over 35 years ago and still dear to my heart. The song brought back that wonderful memory. Aww Lizzie you are amazing and I know how sad these loses would be. And as for runaway Mom well I guess animals can get post partem as well! Doing some back watching or catch up. hugs

this is the exact reason the Cheviots are one of my least favourite sheep... Luckily the farm i work on during laming season only has 10 or so Cheviots in the flock but realized that they wouldnt fit their purpose quite as well as their Suffolk x Border Leicester ewes do . We also have a similar issue with our suffolk mule crosses, they bolt as soon as they have had their lambs and are an utter pain to deal with in the small pens

when swinging a lamb you should never swing it away from u as you are just putting the mucus back through it's nose and that first lamb died because the ewe wasn't checked often enough the lamb that was alive was born a good half hour to and hour before that one
