I had the fortune of tracking the SVJ and the GT3RS back to back at Rockingham Raceway in Corby, England. As impressive as the GT3RS was, its dual clutch box was too sanitised - it might as well have been a full on automatic. The SVJ, with its old school gearbox, slammed me back into my seat each time a pulled for a gear and it was pure drama. It felt like a manual but without the third pedal. For that reason, my pulse was way higher in the SVJ than the GT3RS. And at the end of the day, that’s what it’s all about, isn’t it?

I´m not saying the regular GT2RS couldn´t beat it at Silverstone, I´m just saying we should not downplay the differences between a MR and standard GT2. I can speak from my experience, watching my 2015rr with low mileages is very pleasant , driving the bike it’s hole other level , wheelie curves gives you something that full fill your memory and living the life . One Day we all get older and having that memories and experiences fulfills us more than a new old bike in the garage

I'm a 90's JDM fanboi, but this really shines as an amazing vehicle. It's not even turbo and I'm saying this! Artfully driven Sir Misha.

The reason Every normal and proper race cars have paddle Shifters fixed is for couple of very important reasons. #1 is that you dont mix it while driving. They are fixed. When you hands are twisted your brain thinks left is right right is left. #2 any time you go in and out of the turn, you dont need to shitf, you shift only then when the steering wheel is already in the proper place and you can either upshift or downshift.

Yeah, very "shocking". I don't know how Porsche can have lightning fast smooth shifts, yet this thing shakes the cameras around like a clutch dump every upshift.
@P28735 ай бұрын
Guys it’s because the SVJ has a single clutch transmission, not a dual clutch A dual clutch transmission is one of the main ways to make shifting smooth and not as violent as this case in the SBJ
@Brian.Jones.3105 ай бұрын
Yes and it is because the gearbox isn't properly tuned for smooth and quick shifts. Watch how a 430 Scuderia shifts, it also has single clutch automated manual gearbox.

@sarahdell40425 ай бұрын
@@CITRUS-- I know these have a single clutch. I’ve owned single clutch Ferrari in the past. I forget every time I see these cars how violent the shifts are. I personally hate single clutch transmissions. They feel awful, and the shifting is slow.
