I have, 19shb, close ratio, 3 plate clutch ,casa maxibox ,75kit. Goes well, as does yours.

How about noise level with the Maxibox? Is yours also awfully noisy?
@briggaskin11 ай бұрын
@thomaskunkel7460 it is quite noisy so I've cut the end pipe by a few inches and fitted an end can silencer. Didn't make much difference but looks good. Maxibox certainly improves performance. I was using a casa big bore standard clubman before and nearly bought a jollymoto. I've had a maxibox on a lui 50(75) before so I know they work well.

Ah, that‘s interesting. Did you check wheather the maxibox got an internal chamber respectively silencer or not? When I ran those reproduction boxes I opened once a j125 Casa box exhaust. It had no silencer chamber as original ones do have. I placed more mats of noise absorbing material into it and rewelded everything. It was less noisy but not up to how it ought to be. I‘ll do the same now with a Tutto Lambretta j125 box exhaust which does have a chamber, but is noisy as hell too. I try to bring the noise down to an acceptable level. The Jolly Moto exhaust is relatively quiet, but is made for the 50cc/75 cylinder and doesn’t rev much. It works well, but on my CP One05 it is a non performer. It is a pitty that there are no exact copies of an original exhaust on the market at least, just screamers. All lack a proper quantity of noise absorbing materials, thick steel body and an internal chamber, except Tutto Lambretta exhausts. I‘d love to get my hands on an indian SIL Sunny exhaust, but this seems to be more or less impossible. An genuine Vespa T5 1942 exhaust by Piaggio has a weight of 5 kg. And two chambers and one muffler. Anyways I‘ll rebuild my exhaust. If it works out fine in the end, I probably would purchase a maxibox and do the the same procedere to it as well. Let‘s see!

@@thomaskunkel7460 still looks nippy though nice scoot I’m toying with the idea of getting a project one . Good idea ?
@thomaskunkel74603 жыл бұрын
@@markthompson8511Yes, it's nippy. Got short gearing and the smaller 9" wheels. Tried 15 teeth front sprocket, but was no fun at all. It's a nice scoot for town use. It is a very economic Lambretta. Parts are still good to source - unless it is a j125m4. In my opinion they are very reliable, but the fork bearings are proone to brake. And they vibrate quite a lot. But I like them. Saying that with having in mind that I'm actually building a second engine (very late one) with Vega 4 speed gearbox.

Seit 15 TKM. Mittlerweile gibt es die Nebenwelle aber nicht mehr von DRT, sondern von einem anderen Hersteller.
