This video shows what I needed to know in the 1960's to tune my TV175. I'm enjoying your videos. Oldtimer from florida,USA.

Very Nice work!!! Are the same Port duration for a TS 185 pistón with 116 mm rod and 58 stroke?

cheers for the vid, always curious to know how you obtained the port timings for tuning, I guess you would have used a timing disc before you had the Buzzwangle? nice one. Paul

nope just spin a bottle on floor .😂🤣😂 buzzwangle is so much better than a disc ....

I hope you’re going to chamfer those ports before you finish....
@TheSteelweasel4 жыл бұрын
Why ? It doesn't need it ? And it will have less power if you chamfer. The edges are only slightly smoothed with emery cloth
@graemelake84194 жыл бұрын
I’ve always done it as it gives the rings an easier time.
@TheSteelweasel4 жыл бұрын
@@graemelake8419 yes that's correct but it also changes timings and angle of gasses from transfer ports , I always use a curve in the upper exhaust port to aid rings passing and keep it narrow at the bottom which is the one that does the damage on rings because on the compression stroke the rings are pushed out against the wall of the barrel .
