He is super underrated even still. People seem to forget that he was on the greatest H.S. basketball team ever assembled, they literally went undefeated ever game they ever played in H.S. and not only that, they won by like 30+ points. He skips college for a pro team to get better experience like Luka then goes to NBA Rookie of the year. And now Allstar. He is like Luka in alot of ways, people for whatever reason are missing their potential to be the face of the league one day.

He a class act! I really like that he don’t give hisself too much credit yet, he know he got work to do and trying to get better everyday says a lot about his drive and ambition. Also she kept asking bout individual goals he blew that off, you achieve invidual accolades on the way indirectly not trying to do them why I like the old era ballers: M.J.23, Magic, Bird, Isiah, they achieved stuff not bc they trying to be scoring champs or assist champs but bc it was all apart of the game, now you hear guys in league come in chasing individual accolades like Lebron, other guys, and the media actually don’t help bc that’s all they want to see, and that’s why you seeing mediocre teams, mediocre talent bc they not playing ball as overall concept it’s let me reach this n do this and not focus on the bigger picture. Lamello I voted for him to go and of course Ja Morant too! Big ups to those two shining 🏆🏆🏆🥇🏀🏀

I'll be the first to say that I hated on him when he was in high school early on. I thought he and liangelo were no defense playing shot chuckers and I still felt that way when they went to Lithuania. Just another shitty hyped mistape era kid. Definitely didn't think he'd make it in the league. Maybe as a poor man's Lou Will. Always liked Lonzo's game though. But then he grew and his game developed. Liked him a lot at Spire and then thought he was the most interesting prospect after his time in Ausralia. His defensive IQ needs work but his effort was there. His ability to run the PnR at such a high level and at such a young age and being so tall was amazing too. That's one of the reasons why I'm really high on Josh Giddey. He obviously doesn't have the scoring skills that LaMelo has but the playmaking is there
