Man from watching him in a live game as a freshman, thinking "this dude is too raw, too little to be playing elite level basketball", "Now Lonzo can play, Liangelo could be an assassin". To watching him drop 90+ in a YT highlight video again "thinking okay he can shoot, but really has no elite athleticism". Until now, kid, dude, boy Or man can flat out hoop. His athleticism is catching up too his skill. He has excellent conviction in whatever he does on the court. Not yet as an Elite Athlete such is Lonzo, but by this time next year, he'll be popping a cap on from that years #3 Pick. His shot selection is still iffy, but he is 10x more aggressive too score or create a play than Lonzo. Has been and is gonna be fun to watch his game keep elevating. I've coached Varsity Basketball for 7 years, the one thing every great team needs is a very creative general, I don't mean flashy, I mean somebody to make or create a great play when his team really needs a basket. Lamelo Ball does one thing better than half the starting PGs in the NBA do, keeps his eyes and head up, always surveying, he has and has had an Elite skill set, jump never had the Elite Athleticism, guess what......he does now. I really believe Lamelo Ball will be taken in the Top 5 draft picks, shocked if he falls past. Would love too see him back with Lonzo in NOLA: PG- Melo Ball (Tall Rangey OF like Penny Hardaway).
