In Australia only the richest schools really have high school basketball, we play in local club teams once a week, so there isn't a difference like there is between AAU and high school basketball in the US. So these guys would have paid to go over there as now is when the most scouting is done for colleges. Right now in Australia there's only a few weeks left in the season before our playoffs start so they're not missing much

At around 3:20-3:25 we can see why Lemelo is going to be a special passer and teammate. His teammate airballs a 3 after Melo had stolen the ball and passed it to him, so Melo grabs the airball, dribbles back out, and feeds the same player again who drains the 3 this time. In the space of a few seconds he did his part on d, and did his part to make sure his teammate didn't keep his head down over the airball. Now I know this wasn't a high pressure situation or close game, but the vast majority of players would not have the mindset to do what he did there, hate all you want on him and his family, but Lonzo and Melo are both special players imo, and Liangelo has a chance now that he is in shape, he probably needs the 4 years at UCLA to really learn the game.

I have trained and given birth to stars like Jeremiah Francis (Pickerington Central, OH), Jordan Mitchell (Monteverde Prep, FL), Alonzo Motley III (Summit Country Day, H.S OH), Garrett Wilson (Lake Travis, TX), Josh Corbin (Gahanna Lincoln, H.S), Willy Mfum (Northland H.S) just to name the one's in the 2019 Class that I've had the honor and privledge to work with. I say all of this, so that you know that the comment I'm about to make is coming from a bonafide place. Lamelo Ball would get ate alive by any of these dogs, I just mentioned, and he damn sure shouldn't be mentioned in the same sentence with Cole Anthony. Cole Anthony is a "One and Doner". He plays both sides of the ball, He's fully engaged at all times, he's intense...and I haven't even mention his skill to foretell the future during the game...Melo has this gift as well. But he does not work hard enough to be in my camp...walking on defense, not crossing half court, taking illicit shots...Cole Anthony is a REAL BASKETBALL PLAYER...the Players mentioned above are REAL BASKETBALL PLAYERS.
