Chei, it's only in Gambia that ppl with basic education are allowed to head institutions as important as national intelligence & this is still accepted as normal, so can how we progress as a nation? A head that believes that once he delegates responsible he doesn't need to check d work of his subordinates, all they are interested in is travelling unnecessarily & collecting per diem, so sad

Degree holders who have no work experience is equally dangerous. What's taught at institutions do not necessarily reflect the workplace scenario. This is also happening. Graduates struggle to secure jobs in the field of study in Europe due to lack of work experience. The moment they arrived in our motherland, they're given high post which they do not have a clue about.
