Thank you, this was very halpful! I hope you can make a video about different comparison of uke strings too. I have all laminated uke but I'm not sure which kind of strings would be the best fit for it.

Aquila are generally best on a laminated uke. Best way to enhance the tone of your instrument.

I live in Florida so I guess the ukelele is always being humidified lmao

I'll actually found the solid top to have the best sound, but then it's not the best audio through KZbin. Thx

Hi can you please help me choose between concert with soild top and bone or tenor but laminate wood? I prefer fingerstyle playing
@hugohelmermusic4 жыл бұрын
If you were just doing Strumming and chords, the difference between solid top and laminate top is smaller... but with fingerstyle playing if there's a choice between solid top and laminate top... Always go solid top. Better overall sound, better overall tone so you can really hear those nice crisp highs and those rich full low tones.

Hugo i have a question i live in Montreal Canada and in winter my house get very dry.Since i collect action figure and humidity is very bad for those high end collectables having a humidifier in the house is out of question.If i only buy laminate ukulele will they be ok in my dry house.
@hugohelmermusic4 жыл бұрын
A Laminate uke is much less susceptible to humidity and dryness damage... just keep it out of the Extremes I.E. Cold like in keeping it in your car on a super cold day or the other side is dont leave it in front of a heater or fire or near a window on a hot and sunny day. and if you stay away from those conditions really the most fragile thing is going to be the strings. so Yes a Laminate Uke in dry conditions will tend to do just fine in theory... But i cant say 100% that everything will be ok and perfect.

Hugo: Will laminate ukes improve with age? Thanks.
@hugohelmermusic4 жыл бұрын
They do not. However a solid top Ukulele with laminate back and sides will age over time but only the top.
