Can fabric be put through the laminator because I hate that iron on stuff! It cracks and is crinkling!

Hi. I have just started laminating for my 2 and 4 years old and cut pictures in to flash cards after laminating them, however the edges are very sharp after I cut them, any tip on how I could make it smooth. Thanks

Corner rounder punch - search on Amazon. Hope that helps

I don’t really bother doing that I suppose you could round the corners in square pieces but I don’t really worry about it.

Look for laminating sheets that open from the side. For when you are doing a lot of laminating, like for a whole theme’s flashcards, it cuts the laminating time in half.

Question: If I paste items onto cardstock and then laminate, will the glue melt and make the lettering bleed???

Hmm, not sure about that I haven't tried running something through that I've glued. I guess it would be worth a try :)

So far it didn't happen to me.. Used an ink cartridge printer not the laser printer.. and a glue stick..

I'm super late, but it looks like Fiskars, and it's very popular - you can find it in most stores (Target, Walmart, Michaels....)

hi there I have a Mars4 laminating machine and I used it to laminate about 15 sheets over a given period of time. However the machine is not turning green. and stays on red. what could be the problem. Its not heating up. Should I get cleaning sheets to clean it.

HI Mandy, I'm not sure as I don't have that brand. I would probably contact the vendor and see if they have trouble shooting tips online.

How does cutting it not open the seal? Maybe it's because I was laminating a card and not a regular paper, but cutting close to the edge seemed to open the seal on it. But maybe I'm just misunderstanding how it works.

Some lamination will open when you cut close to the seal, this one seemed to stick. If you need to do a lot of cutting I recommend a sticky laminate as opposed to a heat laminate. Xyron sells sticky laminate and it works great, I have this one: amzn.to/342k6o6

I’ve read that happens when the paper is pretty thick so it makes an air gap around the edges.

If I cut the edge of my laminated paper will the lamination start to peel?

It depends, some do and some don't. On heat laminators it may pull up, I didn't have that problem with this one.

I have a laminator that does both hot and cold. If I were tp laminate on the cold setting, would the cut edges of our puzzles and cards come apart?
