I think cubarsi is just as big of a talent as yamal but hes not mentioned as much cus hes a cb. The dude can do it all, one of the best passing cb itw, incredible at positioning, his decision making is insane for a 17 yo. And to play a position like cb which requires more physicality and cbs also get better with age and experience but you have this guy playing like hes 28 in his prime. Out of this world talent.

Honestly I think Cubarsi is a bigger outlier than Yamal. As you said he's a CB so it's not as egregious stats or highlights wise, but I've seen Neymar, Messi, and Fati do similar things to Yamal at similar ages (maybe a bit older but still around there). I've never known any defender who could start for a top 2 team in the world at 17 years old and make basically no mistakes.

The difference between Mbappe and Yamal is where they are playing. Mbappe spent all his years of development at PSG. He could have left early and honed in his skills and been the staring left winger for Madrid. Now he's coming in late and trying to fit in a system built outside of his position and are struggling in. Yamal built by La Masia in the Barca way and so him and many of his other Academy friends jump in ready for what Barca needs. They struggled the past years but now Cubarsi,Fermin And Yamal being able to shine showing their talents and will continue to devolp in La Liga

I'm Brazilian and I watch almost all of Estevão's games and this boy plays better than Neymar at the same age, he's insane. Chelsea truly bought a generational talent. Lamine Yamal is in an exclusive club of great young players. He’s much better than CR7 was as a teenager and he’s more decisive than Messi was (at least until Messi reached 19). The best young players in the history of football in order: 1.) R9 best teenage player and best early 20’s player. Won the World Player of The Year award at 20 and the Balon d’or at 21, record youngest for both. 167 goals before turning 21. 2.) Pele took the world by storm and helped his country win the WC at 17 years of age, scoring 66 goals that calendar year for Santos. 3.) Neymar, yes he was that good.
