It’s great to be sitting here in 2020 on the full collection of these original car culture models. The metal/metal; RR combo has done well over the years. I’m glad to have a full catalogue of the firsts! (Although not all perfect.) what a crazy beginning of such a great product. Keep it coming, hotwheels!

It's so hard to choose only 5 from all the awesome castings that have been released in Car Culture so far! If forced (e.g. there is a fire and my collection is about to go up in smoke and I only have time to rescue 5 Car Culture cars) I'd probably grab the whole Japan Historics set, not only because I love the castings, but I love the artwork on them, the nostalgia of them, and also for the reason that they were the cars that kicked off this epic Car Culture line. Long may Car Culture prosper... I am always excited to learn what the next series will contain and add the models to my wishlist! Thanks John =)

i liked all japan historics (honestly i ordered 2 sets and im still waiting on them), but from what others have shown, theyre all good. wasnt too big on euro style, i was hyped for golf and the 933 grew on me. all trucks were good except silverado. Track day grew on me too, i liked the all, but porsche was better in race day. Redliners were good, i loved the camaro especially because it looked like the blue yenko in 2fast 2furious which is my dream car. Air cooled was okay, they couldve done better with some tampos, but the porsche and squareback were perfect. All race day was great. and im looking forward to modern classics

As soon as I saw the 190E Merc in pics before this set was released I fell in love with it. It is definitely my favorite to date as well. For me: Merc 190 Toy 2000GT Ford F250 Mercury Cougar Datsun 510 (Track day Or Japan Historics, both are awesome) Definitely that new 964 is awesome though, I have yet to find this set in the wild. My opinion might change once I have it in hand.

The VW Squareback almost made it for me but i think the lack of headlights and taillights was the difference maker. And I'd like to add that i think the RX3 from Race Day is honestly one of the most underrated models of this series. I think the colour, the deco and the wheels work perfectly with the casting and I truly got to appreciate the beauty of this casting because of the paintjob as compared to the dark purple in Japan Historics, which i think hid some of its details.

Only thing I hate about these: Might spend up to 20 dollars to get a whole set Some aren’t fully detailed And some that are detailed don’t look good Other than that these are gorgeous vehicles. Good video

Lol some of the choices are like why do it that way? That's why I can't be a mass collector I'm very selective I saw an nsx in sliver for my Honda collection and skipped it cause of a paint defect that was very minor also passed up a gtr 33 for the blue paint job and if you know some of the blue paint jobs are not that hot

Went to Walmart last night. There were 3 hot wheels on the pegs. I asked a employee to bring out a case. He said no.

Obviously someone has someone on the inside that us holding cases for them....same thing every Walmart.. I've been to the one in Morehead City n.c. and asked if they had any hot wheels in the back and been told " no not rite now" sorry...and not 1hr later watched them bring out 6 cases for a guy that they were holding them for.....kinda sucks knowing that no good cars will ever make it to the pegs...yeah! So why even go hunt there...

Yes you're hearing it right. COPO done alot. COPO stands for C-orporate O-ffice P-roduction O-rder. It's basically just a car that you can personally have built for your comfort.

I know I'm late to the show, but the mk7 Golf is a pretty terrible casting. Proportions don't look good at all (looks like a super widebody and the wheels are comically large), and it's almost mind boggling that it didn't even get headlights or taillights tampos. Subpar for a mainline...but the fact that it made it there as a premium? Ouf. That's rough. I think Hot Wheels should redo the mk7 casting completely. In general, if a casting makes it to premium, it really REALLY should get headlights and taillights as a minimum, imo. Those features are worth far more than any other decorative tampos they choose.

The chevelle got ruined with the flares the ghia is cool hemi charger is cool bit not the tampos copo is cool best is the;:55 gaser any Volkswagen is cool not the sp2 not my cup of tea I’m a mopar guy but the gasser wins charger #2 # 3 Camaro the Volkswagen the one you don’t like lol and the zamac cause wen toys are us had them out in 04 or whatever it was I had about 500 of them sold most off though
