I love the 19th century costumes and setting. Also, the preparation for the photo during the sextet is a nice touch (and the photo shot at the end of the last note).

The photographer seems to distract from the dramatism of the moment. I don't think Donizetti would aprove it. At moments the singers seem without passion and vigor .
