This is so informative! I’ve been looking for a tutorial to sew satin interior liners for felt hats (Fedoras, pork pies) and the crown for the bucket hat is perfect for this. Wondering if you have any suggestions for making the crown flared, so that the liner would be slightly wider at the opening?

IF YOU ATTEMPT TO CONSTRUCT THIS HAT YOU WILL FIND THAT IT IS ALWAYS TOO BIG. THIS IS BECAUSE THE PATTERN FOR THE BODY IS FLAWED - ADDING AROUND 2CM TO YOUR HEAD CIRCUMFERENCE MEASUREMENT. ADDITIONALLY THE BRIM PATTERN IS ALSO FLAWED WITH THE DIRECTION THAT THE PATTERN BE CONSTRUCTED WITH A 1.5CM INCREMENT. DON'T WASTE A LOT OF TIME AND MATERIALS ON THIS PARTICULAR HAT.
