Really nice job. I enjoyed watching the process and your comments along the way even when you goofed.

after many many years of upscaling lamps,my first action is to remove the electrical. leaves a good chance for new wiring and no masking and the cord is always out of the way. only takes a few minutes.love your method of texture and finish. you also did great job on the video. thanks for posting.wonderful reveal

Very cool finish on the lamp bases and glad to see they work. I was half way to M&S to get parts when I saw the light go on.

Thank you! Lol I was so disappointed until I realized I was the reason it didn’t work 😂

As I have commented before, I am new to your channel and watching a video each day, which I always look forward to. I am really enjoying your videos. I like your decorating style, the fact that your thrifty and on the minimalist side. Your home is not cluttered. I'm tired of farmhouse videos and it's refreshing to watch your channel. You are talented. You seem so kind and down to earth. it comes through on your videos. By the way, love how the lamps turned out.

That means so much to me, thank you for those kind words! I definitely try to keep the clutter down even though I bring home so many thrifted pieces lol. I’m hoping to buy a home next year so I’ll have more areas to style! ☺️

You are so creative and clever! I just love how you presented your unique ideas, tips and tricks. Plus your videos are visually pleasing and easy to follow. I’ve been making diy videos for a while but I know there is still so much to learn. I love the idea of making dupes on a budget. I don’t think we have any pottery barns near me so it’s even better that I can make my own now. I’m happy to come across a talented creator like you. I’d love to learn more from each other. Much support to you every day!

Oh thank you so much for the kind words! I am definitely learning too, making videos did not come naturally to me lol. DIY’s can be tough to film, which I bet you totally understand. Sending love and support 🖤

Have you tried cinnamon instead of dirt? Also, try dry-wall spackle or caulking instead of adding baking soda to your paint? I love your videos, both the DIYs and thrift shopping. 💖

I am not a DIY person, but what if you put painters tape over the cord? That way you won't get paint on your cord and it should be easy to remove. I have recently found your channel and have been watching all your videos. You are talented and I love your style. Looking forward to more output from you in the future. Keep up the good work.

I am totally going to try your technique! Could you tell us what paint you use? Is it acrylic? It looks like it has a certain finish. Is it chalk paint?

Thank you!! I’m not actually, but this piece is really the first that started getting me interested in singular line artistry ☺️
