Once again Spring, watching you is mesmerizing! Especially doing such a beautiful piece of art that I know I will never attempt, lol! But that doesn't mean I don't appreciate it! Seeing it done makes me see glass beads...glass work period...in an entirely different light. You are an amazing artisan! You mentioned you don't care for Tunisian crochet. I just kind of stumbled on to it in January through Jayda Institches. Another one of those things I assumed would be complex and I could never achieve it. But I LOVE it!!! Then I came across Michael. He is such a gifted instructor. Then several months later I find you through him!!!! Life continues to blossom! Thanks for your enlightening video!!!

Awe thank you 😊 for the kinda words ! I enjoy learning new things and making them. I don’t always enjoy the craft I’m trying to learn but I at least want to try it . I am so glad to hear that my jibberish makes sense 😂. I explain the way I understand in hopes to help someone that understands things like I do. I’m a visual and hands on learning type person. Hugs and love

Ok so I have questions 😂! I have no idea about any of this but have always loved watching people work with glass. So when you are heating the glass for the bead, does the heat effect the bead release in any way? Does it make it softer or cause it to harden up? I see you keeping the bead in the flame while heating the glass to add to it. How long can the bead be out of the flame before it's too late to add and manipulate it?
@SpringTheFiberEnthusiast
@SpringTheFiberEnthusiast 4 ай бұрын
Ok so I’ll try to answer 😂 as I’m am still new to this 😂. The bead release if to hot it will crumble and break off if to cold the glass won’t stick to it. You can reheat a cold bead and do more BUT I personally haven’t had luck with this method. Keeping the bead on the back of the flame 🔥 just keeps it warm but not to a melting point. To manipulate the glass it has to be at the melting point. Hope this info helped

@@SpringTheFiberEnthusiast yes! Very interesting and very specific conditions that have to be met to make such beautiful beads. I am amazed.
